When the medical staff came again to check his wound and change his medicine, Suzanne Trent took out the takeout boxes she had just brought back and threw them away.
When she returned, the medical staff were explaining precautions concerning Mason King's wound. It didn't sound like a routine checkup, as she heard key phrases like "after going back," "make sure to rest more," "you can call a family doctor to come."
It wasn't until the medical staff left that Mason's bandage and hospital gown had been changed.
She walked over: "Are you getting discharged?"
"Yes."
"Your wounds haven't healed yet, and you're getting discharged after only two days in the hospital?"
Mason King replied, "I'll recover slowly after returning to Philadelphia. There's no need to stay in Port City for a long time."
