A new beginning

Little crystals glittered in a sea of white. 

Intricate lace designs swirled over skin and revealed tantalizing glimpsed of collarbone and back. 

The wedding dress was a work of art and wearing it, Alison looked like a vision. 

Her dark blonde hair had been streaked with caramel highlights and twisted into an elegant chignon. 

"The most beautiful bride ever," Sienna whispered, helping Alison to fasten her necklace. 

As an only child, Alison didn't have a sister to help her get ready and as her maid of honor, Sienna was more than happy to fill this role. 

"Were you nervous?" Alison asked, looking a little pale under her make up, "Before yours?"

Sienna thought back to her very first wedding. 

She had been so nervous, she didn't sleep much the night before. 

But that had been because she hadn't even known how Damon felt about her.
