Chapter 46: Plans Have Changed
Phinn and Isaac had walked outside of the village towards the pack’s farm, but were still relatively far away.
Isaac had told Phinn they couldn’t go back to where the pack had initially tracked them because they were still patrolling the area and they needed solitude for this to work.
“As long as we are in the thick of the trees, then we will be fine. We just need the distance, so there are no interruptions.”
Phinn suddenly thought of the perfect spot.
“You know, there’s a meadow that seemed to be the meeting place for Arion and Owen. I’ve caught both of their scents there when they were trying to hide they were seeing each other. It’d really boil both of them, especially Arion, if I chose that as the challenge spot.”
Isaac smiled his disgusting smile and pulled Phinn close to him.
“You know, boy, you’re not too bad. I like the way you think. Too bad you weren’t my own pup or we wouldn’t be in the predicament.”
