Chapter 34: The Hidden Bloodline
Arion and the others had returned from the first shift. They were informing all the others about what they had found from the site where the wolf was spotted.
It had appeared that it was indeed a lone wolf. It was a male and only his scent was lingering around the area. They were guessing that he had possibly moved on, but it was hard to tell based on the few travelers they did have. They presumed he could be hiding low and waiting for the next pilgrim.
The rogue was a shifter, that much was for certain. But him attacking travelers proved he was reckless and could end up causing a lot of issues that the pack had tried so hard to avoid.
Since they were able to recognize his scent now, they were going to take turns wandering out to see if it could be found anywhere else. Possibly give away his hideout.
