The Date

It's been 3 months since the full moon. After that happened, Scarlet's parents will always get into the cellar last. Scarlet has talked to Felix everyday at school and out of school. Dave and Layla started dating after Dave finally confessed his feelings two weeks ago. Layla and Dave hung out with each other more, but Scarlet didn't mind. She supported them plus, she had Felix to keep her company.

Dave, Scarlet, Felix, and Layla were eating together. Layla went to the bathroom. "Guys, i'm gonna ask her on a date." Dave said when Layla was out of sight. Scarlet spat her drink on Felix and slammed the table causing her food to drop on the floor. "Don't worry Dave," Scarlet said, "Felix and I will make sure it goes out smoothly!" she said with determination in her eyes. "Wait, I didn't agree to this!" Felix said. Scarlet twisted her head slowly and looked at Felix with a death star. Felix took one glance at her eyes and looked at Dave, "Anything for you, buddy!" he said nervously. Right when Layla came back, Scarlet grabbed Felix's hand and ran to hide behind a tree. "Hey, what's up with them?" she asked Dave. She sat down beside Dave and waited for an answer. "Haha, who knows?" Dave said, "By the way, do you maybe wanna go on a date?" Layla smiled and hugged him. "Duh!" she said happily. Dave smiled and looked at Scarlet who is hiding behind the tree with Felix. She gave him a thumbs up.

Dave planned to take Layla out after school. Scarlet and Felix are going to be in a disguise and follow them. "Scarlet, do I have to come?" Felix complained, "Yes, unless you want to die." Scarlet said as she walked with Felix. Scarlet and Felix were leaving Scarlet's house because she went to change. They are heading to Felix's place so he could change too. When they made it, Scarlet met Felix's foster mom. Felix had two brothers too, 12 and 7 years old. Scarlet talked and played with them while Felix was getting dressed. "Are you Felix's girlfriend?" Lance asked, the 12 year old boy. "Haha, no. I'm just his friend!" She said blushing a little. "How old are you?" He asked, "I'm 15." Scarlet answered, "Why are you here?" Alexander, the 7 year old, asked. "Well, my friend needed help so me and your brother are going to company my friend." The two boys asked more questions about her. "Do you like cookies?" Alexander asked, "Of course." she said, Scarlet heard Felix coming downstairs and stood up. "Ready?" Scarlet asked Felix when she saw him. "Yup," he answered, "See you boys tonight." Felix said to Lance and Alexander, then he told his mother he'd be back before 11 pm. Scarlet and Felix left and called an cab to go to a restaurant that Dave told them about.
