Lucien had fallen back asleep, and he was woken up a bit later to the feeling of being shaken quite vigorously.

"Lucien wake up, I've become a Hunter as well!"

He opened his eyes and saw Yui's face with a smile beaming at him, "That's amazing, how far did you get in the tutorial?"

Yui looked a bit embarrassed "I didn't manage to defeat the Wolf, but I did try."

"What Class did you awaken then?"

"I'll just share my status with you and let you see for yourself."

Sharing your status with another person was a great act of trust, and Lucien was happy that she trusted him with her information.

"Well, how about I team up with you, I can make sure you don't get hurt."

"Sounds good to me, want to go register in a bit?"

"Sure thing."

Lucien got out of bed, and Yui followed him. They went downstairs and were greeted by his mom, "Sleep well you two?" As she said this, she finished it with a wink.

"You sure do love to make things awkward mom, Yui became a Hunter this morning, so were going to go and register in a bit."

"Congratulations, I'm glad you two can become Hunters together. I'll make a celebratory breakfast for you, go and tell your mom about it first though Yui, I'm sure she'd be happy to know."

"I'll be quick, I should be back soon."

Yui left the house, and within ten minutes she was in a different outfit and back at Lucien's house.

She was now wearing a tight black dress and knee high black socks, with a silver cross necklace on.

Lucien had also changed his clothes in the time that she had been gone, and he was now wearing grey joggers and a black hoodie, nothing special but definitely comfortable.

The breakfast that Lucien's mom had made was a full English breakfast, and everyone at the table devoured it quickly.

While they were eating, Lucien decided to ask him mom a question, "So when is Dad going to be back? You mentioned that you would tell him about my Hunter awakening, but he's not even here."

"He's still working overseas, he said he would be back today, but apparently his work has been extended for a week."

"Sounds about right, well, hopefully he'll be back soon."

Lucien's Dad had always had to go on business trips for long periods of time so he was used to it, but he still would've liked to let him know about his awakening.

The breakfast didn't take long to eat, and Lucien and Yui thanked his Mom for the food before leaving to register themselves as hunters.

The building where a Hunter would register their awakening was in the next town over, which was quite large, and about an hour long drive, or a half an hour train journey.

They decided to get the train, and Lucien paid for them both as it was more convenient to book them with a discounted price if more than one ticket was purchased online.

The train journey was completely normal, and Lucien and Yui sat next to one another in some seats that had a table. The train was quite empty, so nobody sat across from them. The two of them sat close to one another, and their hands happened to become intertwined partway through the journey.

Neither one of them had said anything, but they both knew about the changing dynamic between them and what it would eventually lead to.

When they got off of the train, it was a twenty minute walk to the building, and when they got close they could see it peaking above everything else. It was a fully glass building that shimmered in the sun that was incredibly bright on that day.

They walked up to the front of it, and the automatic door opened up to reveal a spotless room full of people sat at desks waiting for Hunters, as well as a line of workers at the front ready to register Hunters.

Walking up to the desks at the front, Lucien noticed the Hunters that were walking around in extravagant armours that seemed to be made out of expensive materials and monster parts.

In his past life, Lucien had never really had anything special to call his own, as most of his equipment was average and didn't have that many advantages.

He wanted to make sure he had the best equipment possible for himself, and he wouldn't out any barriers in front of himself to stop the countless opportunities he could have with his knowledge from his past life, and his powerful Class.

The desks had no real queue, so Lucien and Yui went up to different desks and began to register.

The man at the desk in front of Lucien had brown hair that was tied up in a man-bun, and he looked quite stern, "Welcome to the Hunter Association, what can I help you with today?"

"I would like to register as a Hunter."

"Okay, fill in this form with your basic information, and I'll put you through to the physical examination."

Lucien looked the form from the man and quickly filled it in.

The last question on the sheet held a magic that would read the person who wrote on its soul and deem if they were lying about their answer's, if this was the case, the form would disappear.

When Lucien handed his form back to the man, he was shocked to see what was written, "You have an S Rank Class? I have to announce this!"

"Wait, can you hold out on announcing it until I have left the building, then you can do as you please."

"I understand, if you enter the door on my right, it will lead you to the physical examination room where my colleague will test you."

Lucien nodded, and walked through the door.
