*The chapter before is chapter 9, before it was this but I realised I had published ten before nine so here is my apologies.*
(multiple pov)
{we are dying, can you feel it?}
'En, I can,'
{Will you release me then?}
There was a swish, a sound of water, as if something was moving in the water.
I stared off seeing the shadow for a moment.
I thought to myself... I am dying right?
If something in here can survive in water I should release it and allow it it's freedom to save me--us.
'Will we survive?'
{We will survive}
My vision swam, I swayed, {RELEASE ME!} That annoying voice continued to roar in my brain... Mind. I knew within myself it would be a bad idea, but this is me looking to continue breathing here. Me trying to mature enough so I can finally have my men and become a boss looking down at the people below. So I ah... Yeh I released it.
'I Release you from your retraints'
Then I saw the world go black. In the background the system spoke but man I was so out of it I really felt it was speaking gibberish.
(releasing restraints, attempting to resist acceleration of unnecessary blood flow due to heart rate increase. Vitality remaining 2%)

My sister I had thought was younger, but I knew better. She was wise, in the beginning I remember there were three of us.
Blue-grey, white and myself the dark grey one.
I had been the youngest among us three and the only one who did not have a humanoid form, so I swam in the water in my pure form, and half form.
Forty meters, I had been l the biggest thing in the water and the most dangerous until I met her.
She to, could not shift. She had a different tone and together we swam.
We hunted and ate before diving back into the dark depths down below. I had been fascinated with the land and so I walked it exploring the land dwellers and air breathers when it was my time to shift leaving her behind.
Shark-kin are natural loners. Us being together was abnormal. I have no idea why I had been so close to her but I wanted to visit her and feel the cool waters but I wanted to explore the land more.
It is only, I did not realise the danger of living on land and so I had been captured then I forgot what I had been.
Pain.
Because I had forgotten, this part of me had been sealed off, forced to become a land dweller. Something inside of me as a self defense mechanism told me the water was dangerous. Why? I could not understand.
I wanted to enter it but the suffocating fear made me constantly wish to retreat. Then the world changed and I was frozen. My mind slowly shutdown and once again my memories were forgotten. The body regressed until I became a small child.
The land dwellers I wanted to see, changed and evolved. The once who Rose to the top were the two legged creatures known as humanoids. They built kingdoms, empires and expanded across the land like a plague. Finally, I had been found and captured.
Pain.
In the water I was a ruler but on land I am nothing but cannon fodder. A joke.
Without memories and a body struggling to stay alive I had limited power so I suffered.
Pain.
Then eventually I escaped and then I died.
Only to have another chance at life.
The memories slowly were unlocked, the body made snapping sounds, the spine twisted, the skin darkened then lightened becoming tougher. In the belly of this thing the small girl's form elongated at a rapid pace. Hands stretched, twisted and extended both lengthening and expanding. The eyes popped the black encroaching on the white area. The hair fell and disappeared followed by the teeth as the mouth stretched, the skin tearing becoming new.
Pain.
After sometime the body grew more than ten meters still expanding, the shape becoming clear that what had before hands and feet now possessed fins.
The thing twisted stretched its Jaws open and in a frenzy ripped a hole into the thing that had swallowed it at its weakest.
There was a roar of pain but the still growing creature ripped its way through the hole and escaped in open water.
It swam high directly to the surface and sprang from the turbulent water with jaws wide snatching up a few Merfolk and Celestials from both the water and the sky before falling back into the water with a crash. The surroundings on the surface and the sky became eerily quiet. So many were shocked by what had suddenly appeared and disappeared, giving them such a blow. Immediately the Celestials retreated knowing that this battle would cause them to have even more casualties. The Merfolk swam as far as they could away from the danger but those who were too slow were caught either eaten, ripped apart due to the water current or tossed away.
"My king! The battle, it is too much. Our losses are staggering."
The King kept his gaze glued on the massive blue-grey creature battling with the monster they had released. The blue-grey creature attacked by ripping into the monster who struggled by retaliating but it repeatedly failed each time. From the thundering beat of his heart, the Merking knew this was his fated. The one he had attempted to claim on the floating contraption and had failed. He could not help but become pleased at the thought of his fated becoming one of the legendary Shark-kin.
"My king!" The Merking reached out with a clawed hand and ripped out the throat of the soldier who continued to scream his name. A while later there was a wailing roar and the monster he had previously prized was eaten before his eyes.
He King after taking the crown from his elder brother and his Merfem felt that she was unworthy of being in his Foz furthermore entering his Fozum.
But the majestic creature before him is worthy.
