Dirga asked, "What does it mean?" because he didn't understand what Aisyah was saying.
"Nothing," said Aisyah. She didn't want to drag out the argument; what was important was that she should. Accept everything he says so that what he wants to do can go as planned. The girl's face lit up with a smile of victory.
"Yes! When are we going to get married?" After Aisyah had signed the agreement that Dirga had made, she asked.
"Now!"
"What?" Aisyah asked because she couldn't believe what she had heard.
"Uncle, are you sane? Are you about to get married? Is getting married easy?" Aisha spoke up.
"Okay, I'll set it up later. You just need to say yes or no!" Dirga said as he played music on his phone.
"You can get married now, but you have to sleep here tonight. We can only move if you buy me a house," Aisyah said.
Dirga said "yes" and put his phone in his pocket. Then he and his friend went back inside.
Four people who had been waiting for them could finally take a deep breath. When he saw his best friend's face, which was brighter than the first time he came to this house, it made Furqan smile.
On the other hand, Pak Imran's face shows that he is worried.
They sat back down in the living room. Aisyah was in the middle, and her mother and father sat on either side of her.
"Bismillah, Mom, Dad, Grandpa, Aisyah finally agreed to become a second wife after she had a private conversation with her uncle. Of course, she did so on the terms she had set, and Insha'Allah, it won't hurt Aisyah."
When Mr. Imran heard what his daughter said, he looked hurt. He turned around to look at the girl he had loved. He hadn't expected his daughter to make a choice that didn't make sense to him. He won't have more than one wife because he thinks it's too much work. But his son didn't think twice about taking a second wife.
"Girl, you do realize the risks, right?" he still hoped that his daughter would change her mind.
Bu Hafidzah could only shut her mouth and rub her chest over and over, trying not to cry over what her daughter had decided.
"Insha'Allah, dad. But if you still don't agree with Aisyah's choice, she's ready to step down."
Kiyai Ridwan just smiled as he watched his daughter and granddaughter's father talk. He had known from the beginning that his granddaughter would accept the man. If Kiyai Ridwan doesn't mind at all, that's fine. Everyone has their own path and life. When they first met and told each other what they wanted, Kiyai Ridwan prayed that if the man is good for his granddaughter, Allah will bring him into his house and move him. grandson's heart to like the man.
Dirga did come, and Aisyah said yes, but neither of them forced or tried to change her mind.
"Don't worry about it," Kiyai Ridwan said. "Let Aisyah decide; she's the one who has to go through it."
Mr. Imran was going to argue, but his wife stopped him.
"Just let it happen, sir. Even if it doesn't work out in the end, we ask Dirga to give Aisyah back to us in the right way." Mrs. Hafidzah told her husband something in his ear.
"Bismillah, if my daughter wants to do it, all I can do is bless it. But before this goes any further, Dirga needs to know if his wife agrees with him." Mr. Imran started to talk, even though Dirga's question made it seem like he was trying to trap her. As far as he knows, no wife wants to get married, especially since Dirga is a civil servant who has very strict rules about marriage.
"Alhamdulillah, already sir." Dirga sent a letter of statement that Amel gave to him. Mr. Imran got the letter and read it.
He had no idea that the man in front of him was really blessed by his wife, so his face lit up again.
"Okay, we're a little relieved to let go of our daughter since this is a promise in black and white. So, when are you getting married, where do you live, and how will you tell people?" This time, Mrs. Hafidzah was the one who spoke.
"We agreed to get married tonight. Aisyah will stay here for a while until the house I've set up is ready, and when she's ready, we'll tell the people." The director gave a firm answer.
"Aisyah asked that this be kept secret at first, and when it was ready, she wanted to have a party," Aisyah said, and Dirga nodded.
"Isn't it too early for tonight? What about the marriage book and the others? Even though it's allowed by religion, we don't want our daughters to get married with betel." Mr. Imran said it once more.
"This is what we agreed on, and if God wills it, I will marry you. The KUA (religious affairs office) will be here soon because I asked for it earlier."
Mr. Imran and Mrs. Hafidzah looked at each other, and then they looked at Kiyai Ridwan. The charismatic man did nothing but smile and nod.
"Okay, remember that it's your choice, so you'll have to deal with the consequences together," Imran's father warned.
Both of them nodded in response.
"One more thing: if my daughter ever does something wrong, please teach her. If she can't be taught, bring it back to us. Don't hurt her heart with rude words or curses, and don't even hit her. This time, Kiyai Ridwan was the one who spoke up.
Dirga gave a firm nod, and his face showed that he was determined.
When someone knocked on the door not long after, Imran's father got up and opened it. Not long after that, two men came in after being invited by the host.
Mrs. Hafidzah and Aisyah are already in the room.
Even though it's just a marriage contract, Aisyah's mother will help her change clothes and put on a little make-up. This is a holy event, so you still need to look nice.
Also, when Furqan needed to go outside for a while, he quickly drove his car to a clothing store near Aisyah's house, where Dirga was filling out paperwork for the civil registry.
After almost an hour, everything was ready, from the filled-out papers and marriage books to the paper bags that Furqan brought. He quickly pulled Dirga aside and asked for permission to go to the backyard to get the groom ready.
But when Kiyai Ridwan told Dirga to change in the guest room, neither of them cared if they did or not.
After everything was ready, Dirga was sitting in front of a table, in front of him sat a leader, Pak Imran and Kiyai Ridwan. The one who married was the penghulu, the guardian was Mr. Imran and the witnesses were Kiyai Ridwan, Furqan and Akmal, a Capil officer.
"What about the dowry?" asked the chief.
Dirga took out a square box from his trouser pocket, he then opened the box, revealing a very beautiful diamond ring.
Finally, Dirga's second wedding went smoothly, after the consent was granted, Mrs. Hafidzah brought Aisyah out.
Even if you only use a simple robe, you can amaze everyone present.
Aisyah is a beautiful girl, but she hasn't worn make-up or simple clothes since she was a child. Because of this, she looks normal, especially with her glasses, which make her look like a nerd.
After they met, Aisyah's mother led her to greet Dirga. Aisyah took the man who is now her husband's hand, kissed Taksim, and then she and Dirga took turns kissing Aisyah's forehead.
The girl was momentarily riveted when she felt Dirga's lips brush her forehead. Aisyah then experienced a low-voltage electric jolt, which caused her to push a smile and a blush out of her cheeks.
