46: MY LACK
Andien and Dirga were still sleeping that morning. Dirga also sleeps in the patient's bed, hugging his wife throughout the night. Andien's ritual of waking up in the predawn and giving her husband a quick kiss remains unchanged. Maybe they were either tired or finally able to sleep peacefully, they didn't notice a man walking in and smiling at them.
Dirga's feet were patted by the man. He slowly opened his eyes. He sat down and smiled after looking at the person who was bothering him.
Alex approached Dirga and hugged him tightly.
"I'm sorry for waking you up."
Dirga gave a nod. He looked up at the clock on the wall in front of him.
"What are you doing here, Lex?"
"Yesterday, there was a three-day midwifery seminar. I had dinner with several seniors and colleagues last night. So I was only able to come here this morning."
"However, it is still very early. It's not even seven o'clock yet."
"I have practice at eleven o'clock. I have to return to Jakarta."
