Chapter20

"Isn't this a hurricane, my grandfather's reckless horse, how she managed to tame him?" Orig thought he was watching his wife's looks; he had never noticed what she had said a time before.

"What are you still doing here? You're in danger."

Taya raised her voice, trying to get rid of his fists; it was a little cold and rough. Orig noted that Taya was still wearing her snail dress, her body as snow, as if there was no life in it.

And before she said anything, he took off his block and put it on. Taya was surprised, but this was not the time to praise his behavior; she was not sure whether he was acting on her or doing so to show off in front of his men.

"That's not the time to joke, Taya. Come back to the palace, and we'll talk when I come back." His tone was commanding at her, but all he preoccupied her with was to prevent Meral from getting close to her husband, Orig, in any way.

"If you don't believe me, there is a trap waiting on the other side of the forest; I will show you that myself."

She said to let the horse zoom so fast that Barley Orig and his men were able to reach her.

"Damn it, how she could be so stubborn; what happened to her? She can't protect me all the time."

Orig thought, watching her shadow fade from his view side.

Out of a sudden, the horses started neighing. Taya noticed that her horse felt something strange with the area, so she calmed down from her speed and started studying the place.

Lots of arrows were shot from the east side; some were hitting the tree behind Taya to cut part of her hair.

"Calm down,"

She frowned; those arrows were fast and frightening to a such extent, but she had to endure, either now or she would lose her husband's heart.

Origi's loud voice and his knight's footsteps, which spread around the Taya region, fascinated only Orig, who stayed with her. He checked on the arrows to know that they were poisoned; he felt his blood boil. What if she got hurt?

"Have you seen now? Do you believe me?" Taya sai, she saw a man from afar, aiming at Orig; she was unable to get any letter out of her mouth, as if there was something attached to her throat, by observing the details of her face and the place of her looks.

Orig pulled his sword and shot the man behind him. A couple of seconds later, they heard the sound of a body hitting the ground.

"No matter how you warn me? Or you throw yourself in danger simply because you can't save me; you will not be able to make it every time, and when I tell you to return to the palace, you must obey me. "

Orig, who got off his horse, said, staring at Taya's angry gaze.

"Listen to me; I won't go back to the palace where your perverted brother treats me out of respect, and you don't find it worth stopping him on his limits."

She spoke herself. Taya, who tried to choose her words carefully, did not want to lose control of her emotions before this man.

'I can't let her leave the palace, not after what happened.'

Orig thought, staring at her lips to look into her deep blue eyes, pulling her out of the horse to hold on to his neck, afraid that he would drop her. How could she do this?

"Orig, are you crazy?" She whispered, with her heart almost out of fear, coming out of his place.

"You will come back to the palace with me."

He said, carrying her to the carriage that one of his knights had requested, while the other two ensured to deal with Orig and Taya's horses.

"Can you let me down?" She said, trying not to stick to his neck; he rather hugged her. "Are you sure you want me to let you?"

He hissed, and as she refused to answer him, he let her fall on her legs and stare at him.

"How do you do this to me? You can't just let me fall; you're so cruel."

Taya was so angry, 'What annoying lady', he didn't answer her; he smiled and stared at the other side, as if he were ignoring her.

"Oh, how I had suffered from the misunderstanding that happened in my previous life as a result of Orig's injury on this day. I am comfortable now that he is accompanying me to the palace."

Taya arranged her dress and couldn't believe Orig would come back with her, and he wouldn't meet that serpent, Meral. She did her hair back in a way that grabbed Orig's attention.

Her smile with this victory made Orig discover another meaning of beauty, other than the victories in the wars; for someone whose hands were covered with blood, he would not find peace in love.

"Now, I want to know where the key is."

His manly, hot voice raised her heartbeat; she shoke her head to get rid of some pinky thoughts.

'It is true in his view that our marriage is just a way to satisfy his curiosity and find out where the key is; it is not as if he will fall in love with me in this life.' That charming smile disappeared from her face, she saw as she returned her tuft of hair back.

"It's in the great ruler palace; I can't tell you where it's hidden."

Said Taya, she really did not know exactly where the key was hidden, but it was the great ruler who stole it from the Dessman family when Orig's father was still alive and claimed to be the great ruler of the seven kingdoms of Rose because of owning that royal key.

"And we went back to talk about the ruler; why do you insist that he was behind all the problems I faced?"

Orig folded his fists; he was on his nerves; he respected the great ruler, as he was more than just a ruler and a teacher in martial arts of sword and especially the methods of assassination. How come someone who took care of him all his life to be the reason for his suffering?

It was illogical for the Orig to believe in her words; he had no less trust in Taya's speech when she brought the ruler's biography.

"Believe it or not, that's up to you," Taya said. She came closer to Orig and put her hand on the seat as she sat on his lap and raised his chin.

"If you don't do anything to deter Dollyo, I'll make sure your family will suffer. Orig Dessmann, I'm not kidding when it comes to my respect."

Taya said in a raging voice full of hatred towards Dollyo.
