Royal advisor

In imperial city

In a well organized building with very tall walls and a grand arrangement of the entire setting of the place. And lots of space in the building; stood countless guards who were all filed up in a line outside the building.

They all stood attention waiting to receive orders from the chief guard who was with the emperor and was inside the building, with countless people who held political standing in the empire present inside as well.

They seems to be in a meeting for hours now and it seems like it won't be ending anytime soon. At the imperial city was where former sir Sedrick built the conference court at, he saw a need to bring the court much closer to the royal family. Couple of hours later; at the front of the building, a black car parked just to the side which attracted the attention of the guards.

A man who was at his mid fifties, who wore a deep blue suit stepped out of the car, with White hairs which was well combed and with a white bears; and a black spotless shoe stepped out of the car.

He headed towards the guards who were outside the door of the conference court and all the guardsmen made way for him to walk through, he approached the head guard who was present outside along with his fellow guardsmen; who bowed slightly to him in reverence, which the man on deep blue suit honoured by raising his hand.

** How is things here ** the man on blue suit asked the head guard who answered

** the emperor has been looking for you,,,, royal advisor ** the head guard said, and the man who was called the royal advisor nodded solemnly with an unknown expression on his face.

After which he motioned for the guards to open the doors while he headed inside the building, the guards closed the doors immediately after him and all got back to their previous post.

The best way which the royal family had always used in resolving issues or deciding on what decision to make, was organizing a meeting with other top echelon of the empire. These men and women who had been present inside the court; held good and considerable standing in the society cause some of these people are either from government powers or rather are notable individuals in Astoria.

Who had made noticable impact to the growth of the empire in all ramifications and beyond reasonable doubts, due to these reasons; these individuals were given a solid recognition in the empire. Sir Sedrick made it this way after the founding of the empire as well as it's establishment; in order to make sure that powers was not abused by the royal family of the upcoming generation.

Sir Sedrick made it mandatory that laws and decision making should be done by casting votes over a very well agreed upon proposal after proper agreement have been made by all powers present in the court room. Even after sharing the powers in the empire, sir Sedrick never gave equal power between the royal family and members of the court. The royal family did hold more power compared to others present in the court, and the once system set in place was what the royal family uses to keep the peace and decentralization of power.

Couple of hours later the meeting came to an end and countless top echelon started moving out from the court, while a group of three men walked out of the court. One in dark red suit; which was short with plump build, while the other man was tall with gray suit on and he looked to be in his thirties.

The third man who accompanied them was non other than the royal advisor, the three of them walked out of the conference court and the plump man said

** what do you think would happen now ** the other man in his thirties remained silent, while the royal advisor said ** I think we all have nothing to worry about regarding any arising issues **.

What followed was silence between the three men, after which the plump man said ** I think things are about to change them ** which followed by him pulling out a cell from his pocket and moving aside to make a call.

The other man who had been silent ever since looked at the royal advisor; in a very different way which seems like they both were communicating with each other for, which took minutes after which the man in his thirties nodded his head at the royal advisor with a slight smile on his face and walked away with both hands on his pocket.

The royal advisor walked back towards the court room when he saw a young man probably in his forties both he looked to be in his early thirties, he wore a black suit with a gold insignia on his suit jacket which carried the shape of a lions head; accompanied by a lots of guards who stood behind him. He was Sir Philemon the current emperor who inherited the seat from his late father, after his demise four year ago; and the current advisor was his father's trusted aid and he's time of service to the royal family hadn't ended yet.

He motioned for his royal advisor to come forward towards him, which the man did and he bowed his head down in the presence of the emperor. The royal advisor kept his head down; cause whenever he made a lapse, he took this stance before the emperor. Which he knew would easy the emperor's heart cause he was very late for the meeting which commerce a while ago.

** Mr Kennedy Jones ** Sir Philemon called out to his royal advisor, whilst he still kept his head down and the emperor continued ** today's meeting didn't go unbeknownst to you did it ** he inquired with narrowed eyes. Sir Philemon waited for seconds which he knew would turn to minutes for his response, for his Advisor's to at least explain himself even if he knew he wouldn't say a word, and he continued ** since you intentionally left on your own terms,,,, you would own up to your own mistake Mr Jones ** and he walked away from him cause he knew every well what his advisor was like.

The royal advisor Jones replied ** yes your majesty ** after which he raised his head with a pitiful expression on his face even if he didn't explain himself to the emperor, meanwhile the emperor stepped into a car and was soon driven away from the court room.
