In a well organized building with very tall walls, and lots of space in the building; stood countless guards who were all filed up in a line outside the building.
They all stood attention waiting to receive orders from the emperor who was inside the room, with countless people who held political standing in the empire.
They seems to be in a meeting for hours now and it seems like it won't be ending anytime soon. At the front of the building; a black car parked just to the side, which attracted the attention of the guards.
A man who was at his mid fifties on a deep blue suit stepped out of the car, with White hairs which was well combed and with a white bears; and a black spotless shoe stepped out of the car.
He headed towards the guards who were outside the door and they made way for him to walk through, he approached the head guard; who bowed slightly to him in reverence, which the man honoured by raising his hand.
** How is things here ** the man on blue suit asked the head guard who answered
** the emperor has been looking for you,,,, royal advisor ** the head guard said, and the man who was the royal advisor nodded solemnly with an unknown expression on his face.
After which he motioned for the guards to open the doors while he headed inside the building, the guards closed the doors immediately after him and resumed their post.
The best way which the royal family had always used in resolving issues, was organizing a meeting with other top echelon of the empire. Who held good and considerable standing in the society; cause some of these people are either from government powers or rather from notable individuals in Astoria.
Who had made noticable impact to the growth of the empire beyond reasonable doubts, and these individuals are given recognition in the empire. Sir Sedrick made it this way; in order to make sure that powers was not abused by the royal family of the coming generation.
He made it mandatory that laws and decision making should be done by casting votes over a well agreed upon proposal made by all powers present in the court room. Even if the royal family did hold more power compared to others in the court, the once system set in place was what the royal family uses to keep the peace and decentralization of power.
Soon the meeting came to an end and countless top echelon started moving out from the court, while a group of three men walked out of the court. One in dark red suit; which was short with plump build, while the other was tall with gray suit on and he looked to be in his thirties.
The third man who accompanied them was non other than the royal advisor, they walked out of the court and the plump man said
** what do you think would happen now ** the other man remained silent, while the royal advisor said ** I think we all have nothing to worry about regarding arising issues **.
What followed was silence between the three men, after which the plump man said ** I think things are about to change them ** which followed by him pulling out a cell and moving aside to make a call.
The other man stared at the royal advisor; in a very different way which seems like they both were communicating with each other for seconds, after which the man nodded his head at him with a slight smile on his face and walked away.
The royal advisor walked back towards the court room when he saw a young man probably in his forties, he wore a black suit with a gold insignia on his suit jacket; accompanied by a lots of guards. He was sir Philemon the current emperor who inherited the seat from his late father, after his demise four year ago; and the current advisor was his father's trusted aid.
He motioned for his royal advisor to come forward, which the man did and he bowed his head down in the presence of the emperor. He kept his head down; which he knew would easy the emperor's heart cause he was very late for the meeting which commerce a while ago.
** Mr Kennedy Jones ** Sir Philemon called out to him, whilst he still kept his head down and the emperor continued ** today's meeting didn't go unbeknownst to you did it ** he inquired. Sir Philemon waited for seconds for his Advisor's reply even if he knew he wouldn't say a word, and he continued ** since you intentionally left on your own terms,,,, you would have to own up to your own mistake Mr Jones ** and he walked away from him.
The royal advisor Jones replied ** yes your majesty ** after which he raised his head with a pitiful expression on his face, meanwhile the emperor stepped into a car and drove away from the court room.
