Chapter 7 : Aspiring Hero (2)

Saejin remained in complete incomprehension in front of Daebon.

"The author, do you know him?"

"Even if I knew him, what would it matter?"

"There are several drafts before he writes his final idea.  He is the one who builds our present and he must be able to change it."

"Forget it, there's no point.  The story is already written."

Saejin left Daebon, leaving him with his idea.

| Chapter 3 - The Forest Serpent |

A member of the Alliance ran up to give bad news.

"Mao Joo is under attack!

"Where is he?"

"At Bukhansan National Park.  "

"I'm going there!"

"Shin wait!"

I didn't take the time to listen to what Saejin had to say, because the time was serious.  A comrade was being attacked.

"You looked worried, what did you want to say to him?"

"Well...  It's possible that he won't get away unscathed."

Just as I reached the Bukhansan forest, a yellow-eyed monster looked at me.  Then came an unpleasant roar that echoed in my ears.

I saw Mao Joo who was not far from this ferocious beast.  He had managed to stand up to it the whole time just before I arrived.

Despite the fear he could cause, my mind remained calm.

"You held on well Mao Joo, leave the rest to me."

Mao Joo who was petrified with fear, regained his spirits when he saw me.

There were other men too who had ventured into this forest.  They had fallen on their backs and spat blood.  Fortunately, this was not the case with Mao Joo.

I began to concentrate my magic power to call upon my sword EXCALIBUR.

I first waved my sword to get its attention and then jumped into its mouth.

Thanks to the size of my sword, I was able to slit its throat.

The snake spilled blood and spat me out.

Its eyes stared at me as it panted painfully.  I thought I was done with him, but...

"Agh!"

"Shin!"

I caught the snake's tail right in my stomach.  The blow I took was very painful to the point that I was in the same state as Mao Joo.

I was no longer able to fight, but luckily for us the monster left.

"We had a close call!"

Mao Joo breathed deeply in relief.

A team is coming to search for you.

Meanwhile, Daebon and Eva were still loitering outside when a mysterious person knocked them out.

They were back to where they started, which was their University.

"No one gets out of here!"

Many students didn't understand what had happened to them.

"Why am I still in the room?"

"This is weird..."

"What's wrong with Daebon?"

"It's like something is holding me back telling me that someone is going to save us, but... I feel like doing something!"
