Chapter 33 : Disruptive element

The Alliance had just learned that Woo Shik was attacking the inhabitants, but was it true?

Daebon would soon find out, as he left to join him.

"Are you sure you'll be fine on your own Daebon?"

"Don't worry Eva!"

"He won't be totally alone, members of the Alliance will be there too..."

Daebon had arrived in Gangnam-Gu, the chic and famous centre of Seoul.

The fact that this large city was under attack made it feel scary.

"Normally, everything would be fine..."

"It could have been..." Saejin replied.

"Why are you using the past tense?"

"Woo Shik has a fetish of divine rank"

"Damn script, the author anticipated everything!"

Saejin didn't react.

"Well, we have to find him, the only way to stop all this chaos is to reason with him!"

"You think that'll be enough?"

Saejin said as he looked up at the sky with pale eyes.

"I noticed some violent explosions over there, let's go!"

They ran towards the sound of the explosions, within seconds they found Woo Shik.  There was no strange aura surrounding him, no physical changes to notify.  However, his eyes were empty, as if he had died from the inside.

"Do you think he is being controlled?" Immediately asked Daebon.

"It is possible..."

"All you have to do is look at the script!"

"I can't..."

"If you won't help me, we can't get out of this..."

Daebon had to take the queens in hand.

He first conjured up his fetish before launching himself at Woo Shik, who easily countered his attack with his spear.

"He's really strong!  It's not going to be easy..."

Daebon thought back to what the Spectators had told him.

"Use my charisma points, yes!"

Daebon went back to fighting, he was having less and less trouble attacking Shik, but it still wasn't enough.

It was then that he threw his spear into the sky.

"What did he try to do?"

"Daebon look out!" Saejin shouted.

Thinking that the spear was lost in the air, it came down at full speed on him.

「The Spectator: Armyqueen

And that's the end for him!」

「The Spectator: Sky Moon

Noooo!!」

「The Spectator: Trojan Horse

He's lvl 21 in agility that'll do it!」

「The Spectator: Eden Isis

Ahaha you talk like you know the rest」

Fortunately, someone will interfere...

It's Woo Shik!

「The Spectator: Clairvoyance

Woo Shik the real one!」

"I don't understand?  Woo Shik, is that you?"

"Sorry, for all his troubles, this person is my replica!"

"A replica?"

Woo Shik threw his spear at his impostor.  He disappeared on the spot.

"Woo Shik you're fine!" Saejin reassured himself.

"He may be a replica, but he's not as powerful as the original..."

"It's all right then, I'll find the other members then!"

Saejin was gone, only Shik and Daebon were left.

"..."

「The Spectator: The Scarecrow

I'm sure Shik has something to say to her...」

"It's good that you're not our enemy, plus I heard you have a divine rank fetish.  That would have made the task a bit more..."

"Daebon, I need to talk to you about something..."

Woo Shik was much more serious this time.

"About what?"

"About that story..."

"That story?"  Daebon pretended not to understand anything, but he knew exactly what he was talking about.

"I know that we're actually characters in a story and the reason Saejin always knows everything is because she owns the script."

「The Spectator: Armyqueen

What are they talking about?」

"I heard that the secretary disagreed with the author.  That's why they decided that I'm an enemy."

"I see you too, you want to change the script!"

"That's right, we're going to do a script subversion!"

Faced with the publishing secretaries who want the author to follow their script, Young Daebon and Woo Shik are determined to lead a revolution

But will they succeed?

In a dark alley a group of men dressed all in black and hooded were talking.

"It seems that our presence is becoming more and more known to everyone!

"Then we can stop acting in the shadows and take action"
