A New Girl

Jane arrived at the station with haste and headed inside searching for Maxine. Maxine, who was almost done sketching Alice's face, noticed a shadow standing behind the closed entrance door into Adam's office. She looked at the shadow which was coming closer into the office. As she was staring, a clatter from the window distracted her. Scared, she turned immediately and focused on the window. The killer's image appeared on the glass beside the window. As she was still staring at the image, another masked killer also appeared on the glass. As she was staring at them, the door opened immediately and Maxine turned with force and admits fear. It was Jane. Maxine breathed out heavily, her heart almost flew away.

"Jane.." she said and headed towards her.

"Come on..we're leaving right away" Jane said after receiving an embrace from Maxine.

"Wait I gotta…." She turned to take the sketch but she didn't see it anymore.

"What?" Jane looked at her scared face and asked.

"N-nothing, we need to go" Maxine said and they hurried out of the station.

A black beautiful and tall girl was practicing yoga in the parlor of her house when a repeated knock on the door distracted her. She rose slowly from the floor and headed to the door, cleaning some sweat from her face.

"Jane what are you doing here?" she asked after opening the door.

"I'm going in' Jane replied walking inside together with Maxine.

"Hi" Maxine smiled to Nancy as she was walking in with Jane.

"Are you okay Jane and who's she?" Nancy asked and looked at Maxine.

"I'm fine and this is Maxine, a friend"

"Are you sure you're okay? You've not been coming online and everybody in yoga class said that they haven't see you for days" Maxine said to Jane.

"I'm okay"

"You don't look okay to me Jane"

"I said I'm fine Nancy, I'm fucking fine" Jane raised her voice and leaned back on the sofa she sat on, relaxing her back on the body. Maxine looked at Nancy and smirked at her.

"I-I ummm, I'm a big fan of yours, I follow you on Instagram and I watch all your yoga videos both on Youtube and Instagram. I'm a big fan" Maxine smiled to her.

"Thank you very much, I hope you share my videos?" he asked her with a smile.

"Sometimes" Maxine replied.

"Are you popular now?" Jane asked Nancy.

"Where's Amanda?"

"Texted her, she'll show soon"

"Here…?'

"Uhmmm"

"Jane what the fuck is going on? Can you just tell me….." a knock on the door interrupted her and frightened, she looked towards the door.

"Who the fuck is that" she yelled and headed to the door. She opened the door and saw Amanda and David standing in front of the door.

"Hi Nancy..' Amanda smiled to her and found her way into the house.

"We haven't seen each other for a long time, you look amazing" David smiled to her, following Amanda.

"Are you guys having a party gathering here?"

"Where's Deb?" Jane asked Amanda.

"To pick her kids from school" Amanda replied.

"Who's Deb?"

"She's a friend, a helper"

"Am I missing something?" Nancy looked at Amanda.

"Yeah you are but it's not a big deal"

"Not a big deal? Alex was killed in front of me by the ghost masked fucker" Maxine yelled.

"Who's Alex?'

"Can you stop asking that question Nancy" Jane scoffed at Nancy.

"The ghost masked killer?" Nancy asked nervously.

"We met the chocolate girl at Deb's father's house, he was keeping her. He said he found her and took her in" Amanda said.

"Did she…I mean..is she still breathing after all she's done?" Jane stared at Amanda.

"She's a kid" David replied.

"She killed people" Jane continued.

"She was possessed" Amanda reminded Jane.

'Possessed by who?" Nancy threw in.

"That doesn't Amanda, she killed Charlotte in front of me" Jane added.

"What are you guys talking about?" Maxine looked at Jane and Amanda.

"You don't wanna know about…."

'What the fuck is going here?" Nancy yelled at them angrily.

"We shouldn't have discussed it here" David whispered.

'You don't wanna about it Nancy" Jane said.

"Get outta my house, now.." she yelled.

"Calm down Nancy, I don't wanna freak you out"

"I'm already freaked out Amanda, what the fuck is going on?"

"Fine, I'll tell you. Jake is the ghost masked killer in Fosterland"

"What? Jake?"

"It's not Jake, it's a girl" Maxine said.

"They are two" David joined.

"That's what's going on"

"And they both have a man's voice, so you can't differentiate"

"How is that possible? Surgery?" Nancy asked.

"No it's a fixed something like..like a…?

"A what? A tone changer?"

"Yeah, something like that" Deb finished.

"That's tricky" Maxine added.

"I don't believe this" Nancy scoffed

"Yeah…me too"

'Y'all are telling me that Jake killed Fraser?" Maxine asked, looking at Amanda.

"Jesus Christ" she breathed in.

"But trust me, we don't wanna..like involve you into this whole shit"

"Then why the hell did you come to my house?"

"They're gonna be here right?' Maxine asked.

"I think they are already here" Jane replied and they heard a knock on the door immediately.

"Who's that? Who's that? Who's that?" Nancy was terrified, Maxine and Jane stood up from the couch speedily, staring at the door.

"Ssshh" Amanda shushed them and headed towards the door slowly.
