Chapter 52 In Pain

Running in my four paws as my bag was on my mouth, I irked from the arrow grazed to my thighs and body. I evaded the trees that I passed by, and couldn't appreciate my surroundings as I was being chased by Grant's men.

"Find that woman!" I heard the roaring voice of Grant echoed throughout the forest.

The animals which had been busy resting in their nests had been bombarded by the running heavy footsteps coming from me and from the other wolves who had been chasing me. I looked back and panicked when I saw some wolves almost catching up to me.

Damn it! Damn it! If I hadn't stumbled down to the other side of the border fence, I wouldn't have to be in this threatening situation!

This was all Sylvester's fault!

He surprised me by pecking the crook of my neck that sent shivers down my spine. That man! He put me in danger again! Is this part of his plan again?!
