"What's going on here?" A voice boomed and the couple disentangled. Aurora pushed herself off Elias, covered her face with her hair and turned to face the stranger and bowed in greeting.
She quickly ran to the driver's side of the car and got in.
"Way to go, Aurora." She chided herself. "And to think our lips didn't even meet, urgh."
Elias got down from the car lazily and stared at the elderly man, "Hi Dad." He greeted flatly, then his expression changed to that of surprise as he stared at the man standing before him.
He was no longer the old man languishing in misery and looking unkempt. But a clean shaved healthy man. His smile was so charming as he stared at his son with pride.
"Let's go in, son." He bent down to the window level and tapped on it to get Aurora's attention, she rolled down the window, "And you also, lady. Come inside." He smiled sweetly at her and she nodded her head shyly.
"Yes sir." She alighted from the vehicle.
