Broken Deal?

Ray stood in front of the suspect and eyed the man. This was seriously getting on his nerves, this was seriously testing his patience,

"You must be kidding me," He told the man who flinched like a little boy not lifting his eyes from the spot he'd been eyeing on the table for a while now.

"I... I- This is all I have..." Tim said with a small voice not befitting that of the strong businessman Ray had known in the past.

"I don't know why you think that I believe you. This laughable excuse of reasoning you're giving me is something that even a school grader could outdo. why don't you try again and tell me why are you trying to give us custody of your son like this?"
