Clean, yet?

I was drying my hair with a towel that Sangwoo had given me, while he fixed up my twisted ankle. He was knelt in front of me while I sat at his dining table.

I couldn't help but remember how he shouted at me not so long ago.

How he threatened me with a sledgehammer not so long ago.

I couldn't help but tear up from the thought, though I wasn't sure how Sangwoo would react to my crying, so I held my sleeves to my tear ducts to prevent the tears from dripping down my face.

He noticed my strange actions and tilted his head slightly. "Y/N, what are you doing? Remove your hands from your face."

I shook my head in response, refusing to comply. Although, I remembered what happened earlier and immediately my hands dropped from my face and my head hung in shame. I didn't want to cry in front of him.

His grip on my ankle immediately tightened, making me jerk forwards followed by a small squeak. It hurt, so very much.

"Why are you crying, Y/N?" Sangwoo demanded, his gaze hard and presumably angry. He was unimpressed by my pathetic self. I couldn't reply, the words wouldn't form. I felt one of his hands let go of my ankle, and he rose from the floor.

There was nothing but silence for a minute as he stared down at my feeble body.

He soon began moving again, and he was gone for a second, before he re-appeared in front of me. I could see his feet before me.

"I repeat.. Why are you crying, Y/N?" His voice was more of a growl this time, and I could see the shadow of an object he was holding. It had a handle, and-....

The sledgehammer was back.

I hesitantly lift my head to look at his face, not directly in his eyes, I was too afraid.

"S-S... Sangwoo... p-please put the sle-.... sledg-... sledgehammer d-down..." I pleaded, although it was futile. I knew he wasn't going to comply.

"ANSWER THE DAMN QUESTION!" He shouted back, followed by the heavy weapon slamming down beside my foot, onto the wooden floorboard. It made me scream, cover my ears and jump up from the seat. I was about to run, though he grabbed me by the collar and held the handle at my neck with my back to his front, tightly. He was effectively choking me. "Are you ready to answer me now?"  Sangwoo whispered into my ear, which was worse than the shouting. It made me seethe within his grip.

When he was quiet, it was scary. He's more angry when quiet, compared to when he's actually shouting.

"I-..." I couldn't reply. I wanted to, but the handle was too tight against my throat. It was painful.

My hands slowly rose to the handle, attempting to pull it forwards slightly so I could breathe and answer, but he simply tightened it. I could feel my head spinning. The oxygen couldn't get to my lungs.

"S-..." I tried to tell him, but it wasn't working.

My head was spinning.

My vision was drowning.

I was drifting...

Drifting...

Drifting...
