A waste of energy

" Hey Shu, why did you beat them up so badly? "

Fu questioned as he looked down at Shu, who stared back at him, his expression was calm and his eyes were almost completely opened, but in it was no emotion

" Well, if I was in their shoes, would they have gone easy on me? "

Shu replied, shutting the man up, turning his face away from the boy before sighing

" That's kind of mean, don't you think Shu? "

Fu questioned, making the boy shrug before raising his head up to look at the moon.

" Yeah sure, but, what are we doing at the peak of a mountain? "

Shu said as he turned to look at Fu who was digging a hole in the ground with his bare hands, making Shu tilt his head in confusion

" Actually, forget my last question, what are you doing now? "

Shu questioned, as Fu simply kept digging till the hole eventually reached twenty nine feet underground

" Okay done! "

The man yelled as he jumped right out of the hole, smiling at the kid who just kept staring at him

" Uh, okay? Now what? "

Shu replied, crossing his arms together as he got closer to the hole, looking down at it

" What do you mean? "

Fu questioned, as he looked down at the hole, whilst slowly placing his hand on Shu's back

" I mean it looks pretty deep- "

Shu said before being thrown into the hole, by none other than Fu who pushed him, and out of the boy's mouth a scream slipped out

" Why the hell would you do that!? Now my clothes is dirty! "

Shu yelled as Fu simply smiled, chuckling a bit as he began to gather the dirt all around the hole in one spot

" This is for training. I'll throw in this dirt and you'll try your best to not let it land on you, with nothing but your sanctuary energy, you can't punch it, kick it or any of that, you have to block it with your energy, nothing else "

Fu explained before placing his hands behind the pile of dirt

" Okay! "

" one! "

" two! "

" three! "

" Ready!? "

" Go! "

The man yelled, pushing in the dirt as Shu simply covered his body in a huge blue aura, burning the dirt before it could reach him

" Oooh, that's a pretty cool idea, focusing most of your energy on your Aura using it at a shield to block the dirt. Amazing! But.. "

The man explained, his eyes shining a dark purple as he watched the glow of Shu's aura piercing through the separated dirt like a pillar of light

" It won't last long, try a different method "

Fu added as he pulled a piece of bread out of his pants, placing his it in his mouth while calming sitting up a table with food and next to it a chair, which came out of absolutely nowhere at least to the normal eye.

" Well, tell me when your done "

Fu said as he sat down on the chair, resting his back against it as he closed his eyes

" Well I'll pull you out once you run out of- "

The man couldn't even finish, he had completely falling asleep, with his mouth wide open and saliva falling from the sides of his mouth, snoring loudly as he laid with his arms spread apart

" Did you fall asleep!? I can hear your snoring all the way down here!! "

Shu yelled as he squeezed his hands into a fist, flexing all of his muscles, to indicate that he was putting more energy into his aura, which grew the harder he flexed.

Of course, Fu didn't hear Shu's screaming, he was asleep after all. The man simply smiled as he smacked his tongue and lips together, as if tasting his own saliva to then move his head to a side, continuing to sleep

" Dammit! That bastard can't even hear me "

Shu said to himself as he began to scream, flexing harder than he did before, his eyes glowing a bright blue as the ground below him cracked due to all the flexing his muscles were undergoing.

Hours passed and Shu was still going, but the aura wasn't as big as it was before, it was two times smaller than it originally was, and small pieces of dirt began to pass through it, fortunately for Shu though, none of it grazed him, but it did scare him, to the point where he began to sweat out of fear he'd fail Fu's test.

Speaking of which, he began to wake up, yawning a bit before grabbing a piece of cold stake from the table of food he had in front of him, opening his mouth wide, throwing it in to them swallow it down, along with the bone, not even bothering to even chew, before falling back to sleep.

Shu simply continued to block the dirt with his Aura, and he continued to do so till an hour passed, when his aura began to slowly vanish

" Fuck.. I can't believe I'm about to use my Spiritual Awakening to block off a pile of dirt, dammit.. "

The boy whispered as his eyes began to shine, glowing so bright it began to produce it's on light. As that happened, his hair began to shine as well, beginning to float, whilst the veins on his neck popped spread up his chin like the roots of tress underground.

After a few seconds, his entire body exploded into an even bigger aura, changing the most important parts of his appearance. Which were his eyes, which now began to glow, as well as his hair which turned pitch black, and finally his skin, that went from a somewhat pale color to completely pale.

Although this new form allowed him to make his aura bigger, it didn't last for long because right after two more hours the dirt fell all over him, receiving nothing but laughter from Fu.

" Hey don't laugh! How the hell do you expect me to stop dirt from hitting me with simply an aura!? "

Shu yelled as Fu simply continued to laugh while the boy cleaned away the dirt that his clothing gathered
