Family and dinner comes first

"Ring Ring!" A phone call interrupted the solemn mood.

"Hello?"

"Loli! Mitch! When are you coming home!? It's already 7 and dinner's ready ❤️!" Their mom said excitedly in her sickening sweet and cute voice.

"Mom, we have a situation. Our client had damaged her sea of consciousness! Sniff!!" Loli begin to sob.

"Why didn't you call earlier? I can fix it in five minutes!"

Loli immediately broke down in tears in relief. Mitch capped his powers immediately and deactivate the barriers.

Right after the barrier was taken down, a door 🚪 appeared in the middle of the room. The door slowly creaked open and a woman in a one piece cartoon pyjamas walked into the room. The pyjamas has a semi circle pouch on its white belly, but the overall is blu in colour. The sorcerer was also wearing a red choker with golden bell. At this moment, anyone who saw her would be amazed by how comfortable the pyjamas looks. Especially with the white round shape glove.

The purple hair sorcerer touched the dragon lady's horn and a warm bright light begin to emit from the round shape glove/ paw. The warm light spread to the horns, and made its way through the spine and nerves of the dragon. A droplet of water appeared above the forehead of the unconscious patient and disappeared into gentle ripples. Next small bolts of currents were seen discharging from the horns of the dragon (the horns looked more like antlers but more metallic looking). A cherub appeared and kissed the forehead of the dragon lady before disappearing into thin air. The warm light slowly receded and formed a small warm glow where the dragon heart is. A reverse scale grew and protected it.

"Okay, done! Less than 5 minutes!" Smiled the sorcerer.

"Thanks mom! Doctor and nurse, please let the person in the next shift look after the baby and mother. If there are any misunderstandings we can resolve it later. Family and dinner come first, don't work too late!"

With that said, Loli and Mitch waved goodbye to the rest and followed their mom home through the door.

A handsome man with golden blonde hair and gleaming white teeth greeted them in a pink apron.

"Daddy! What did you cook tonight?" Loli asked excitedly.

"Ara, you two had a hectic day huh? Come, today we have mashed royal potatos, dodo with herbs, honey curd and sweet frothy beer! Hahahaah!" The man laughed heartily.

"It was truly an eventful day. Luckily mum saved us time and we managed to get back in time for dinner!" Loli beaming with pride.

"Hahaha, maybe next time you can make bento for us dad! It will definitely save us a lot of money."

Mitch was hoping that less misfortune will happen if Loli goes out less. But he knew that is not possible, so he has to find a way to fix her Hamelin curse.
