"Fuck it, might as well try now am already close to it," he said steeling his nerves

He moved his Mana to his legs, he dashed towards the ant Shane had learned how to move all over his body, although he couldn't use all his Mana to enhance his body at once, he could move Mana to a specific part of his body.

He ran straight toward the ant, the ant also shot toward Shane, the ant's speed caught Shane by surprise, and the ant snapped its mandibles shut when it got close to Shane.

[Boy, that's a worker ant, running straight towards it is suicide] the system advised Shane.

"You should have said something earlier" he rolled to the side avoiding the ant's mandible.

'It's a good thing am facing a low-level ant, it cannot adapt to my movement in time' Shane thought.

He roused his Mana to his fist before punching the ant's head which proved to be a mistake *Bang* Shane felt like he had just punched a brick wall "What the heck" Although the punch had done no damage to the iron-head ant it was still enough to push it back a little.

Shane knowledge that using his fist wouldn't be enough to kill the ant, he had to come up with a way to attack the ant without getting physical when he found out that he was going to become a mage due to his possession of Mana, Shane was bummed out, why would he want to be a flimsy mage that has to stay far away from his opponent, as an alpha male he would rather face his energy head-on.

But he had no choice but to go along with the system and having discovered that he had weak physical strength even after his weeks of workouts since he got to this world, he knew he had to do something, he had to find a way to attack the ant without getting physical.

He needed a spell, but he had none, so he decided to do the next best that came to his mind, which was creating an attack with the Mana in his body, during the time the system taught him how to feel his Mana, he was able to move it around his body so what if he could send out pure Mana out of his body, he roused some of his Mana to his left hand he felt a sharp pain in that hand as the amount of Mana Was too much for it, he brought his fingers together and sent out a slash with his hand.

*BANG*

[+40 EXP]

Shane saw the ant cut into two halves from his attack, the attack was invisible even to him, all he knew was that the attack was successful as the Mana had left his hand with the shape and sharpness he had imagined, shane immediately checked his Exp, he smiled as the number increased.

[>>Exp = 160/200]

"A little more and I will level up" he murmured, he was able to continue looking for the weaker ants to test his new skill on, he was going to use them to refine his Skill when the system spoke to him.

[Boy am happy you defeated that Ant, but you should check your Mana]

He did as the system suggested, and the smile on his face vanished.

[>>MP = 80/100]

"How the hell did my Mana reduce to that amount, I didn't even use any spell," he asked the system angrily.

[You expended too much Mana in that skill you created, you need to learn how to control your Mana usage when you use that skill]

"hummm, that makes sense I think, even though I know that the amount of Mana I used was much, then how am I supposed to control the usage of the Mana needed"

[You don't expect us to tell you everything, you must act first before we can advise you otherwise]

"Ok good to know, it wouldn't be an adventure if you keep telling everything," he said while moving to look for other lower-level ants to play with.

Shane could see a any standing on his feet in an upright position holding an Axe running straight towards him.

[Chimera Ant]

Name = ????

Type = Worker

Level = 3

Hp= 150]

"Why the heck is that thing and how is it health more than mine" Shane complained as he charged toward the Chimera ant.

He got closer to the Chimera ant without care for the weapon in the Ant hand, for he knew he had a sure hit skill but he wanted to test his physical prowess against a humanoid ant since it had more places to hit other than its iron head.

As he got closer to the Chimera ant the ant's speed increased and it disappeared from Shane's view only to appear before him with its sword aiming at Shane's neck, he tried to use his skill but it was too late as the Chimera Ant tried to slice his Head off, Shane ducked missing the Axe by a few hairs length.

'Shit that was close' Shane thought as he rolled to the side creating a much-needed distance between him and the Ant, he touched his neck the feeling of his neck falling off his head was vivid in his mind.

Without wasting any more time Shane used his new skill sending out a slash attack from his hand, *Bang* instead of the Ant's head rolling of it's head Shane saw the ant use its axe to block against his invisible attack but it was only able to protect it head as the rest of the attack hit its body but wasn't able to slice through.

Shane was surprised as the attack was supposed to be invisible even for him so how did the Chimera Ant see the attack, 'The rest of the attack still hit, so it didn't see it more like he felt it, is it due to some warrior sense' Shane thought if the Ant had seen the attack it would have dodged the whole attack instead of protecting its head. This was a good thing for Shane who was looking for a way to perfect his only attack skill.

With a smile on his face, Shane sent out another slash attack, but this time he had used as little Mana as possible in the attack, instead of blocking the attack like before the Chimera ant dodged it by side-stepping 'It didn't block it this time around' shane thought and once again before the Ant could attack him, he sent another vertical slash towards the Ant using the most Mana he could control.
