Slowly, Nadya loosened her grip on my waist and landed softly on the ground.
She then grabbed my hand and walked towards my mother.
"I'm sorry, Mother-in-law. It's been so long since I've seen him that I lost control," she said gracefully, bowing in front of my mother.
My mother didn't reply, but she looked at me with the same smile on her face.
"When did this happen, Eden?" she asked gently, glancing at the hand Nadya was holding.
"Should we sit down first?" I suggested, and she nodded slightly. We all took our seats, with Nadya sitting beside me, leaning her body against mine and holding my hand.
"Hey," Elysia greeted awkwardly as I settled into my seat.
"You look better," I replied with a light smile.
"Yeah," she responded, and I nodded in acknowledgment.
I leaned in and whispered softly in Nadya's ear, "Did you introduce yourself?"
