Once she was gone, Muyan unleashed her wickedness on this world. After all, she wasn't a saint; she felt she deserved to take revenge.
Punishing and acquiring the crown were not enough for her; she craved more. She intended to make the other princesses suffer even more, putting an end to their wickedness.
Determined to exact revenge, she stealthily escaped the palace and headed to a nearby hill to think of a fitting way to punish her siblings.
Unbeknownst to Muyan, the place she ventured into was forbidden territory because it was where the Crowned Prince of their enemies resided.
His sole ambition was to kill anyone from the Dong Clan who entered the area. The Emperor had failed to warn Muyan about this when they entered the portal to this place, and Muyan left only to focus on plotting a perfect evil plan against the Emperor's children.
Muyan seemed not to care about the possible danger she was in, as all she could think about was how to exact her revenge on the princesses who had wronged her.
While she was deep in thought, she suddenly paused upon hearing footsteps. When she turned, she laid eyes on an extremely handsome young man dressed in black. Though his expression was cold, he was precisely the type she admired. He fit her standards perfectly.
The young man went in her direction as she sat on a rock, and she found herself biting her lip while gazing at him.
"Damn! He's so freaking handsome. Could he be my Mr. Right?" She questioned herself, smiling widely at the captivating stranger, wishing to make him hers because of his striking appearance.
To her shock, the man pointed a powerful dao sword at her, shattering her fantasies and instilling fear in her heart. Her heart raced, but she needed to act normal to avoid revealing her fear.
What an unfortunate day she was having; her life might end right there. If the mice didn't get to her, this man surely would.
Knowing that no one would come to her rescue since no one from the Dong Clan knew she had come here, Muyan tried to think of a way to avoid being killed by the man.
She decided to use her beauty to her advantage, as he was also handsome.
"Hey handsome! Don't you dare to point that fucking sword at me! Don't you know who I am? Well, I am one of the princesses of the Dong Clan. Show me some respect, normie." She bragged about her princess status, but the man remained silent, which pleased her.
For him, it was the perfect time to kill this beautiful lady, especially since she was all alone.
The young man suddenly grabbed the young woman tightly with one hand, causing her pain. He was about to kill the princess using his sword, but it shocked him when she immediately kissed him on the lips.
Startled, Ling Yutu let go of the powerful dao sword that he was holding. It was his first kiss, and he was stunned. He had promised himself to only kiss the person he would marry, but it was stolen by the enemy of his adversaries.
Wait, were they really enemies? The woman's attire was peculiar. He couldn't believe she was a princess. However, there were only two clans existing in this world, and he knew she didn't belong to his clan.
Prince Ling Yutu glared at Muyan and said indignantly, "How dare you kissed me!" His voice clearly showed his disappointment.
The young woman stared back seriously and replied, "How dare you try to kill me! You know what? You're handsome, but the problem is that you're a villain in my life story." She moved closer to him, making Yutu feel uncomfortable. "Point your fucking sword at me again." Muyan said, pointing at the dao sword above the ground. "I won't hesitate to kiss you on your lips."
Her words made the Demon Clan prince feel anxious.
Yutu gave her an evil look, but Muyan was not afraid. She raised an eyebrow to show him that she was unbothered.
Yutu wiped his face with both hands and ordered the wind to lift the powerful dao sword from the ground and flew it back to his resting place, as he had lost the desire to kill this persistent woman.
Seeing the wind obeyed his command amazed Muyan. "Wow! You can do that? That was amazing!" She said, smiling broadly at Ling Yutu.
"My dear handsome guy, I don't care if you wanted to kill me. I believe you'll develop feelings for me soon. You see, I only traveled into this world just to find my Mr. Right." She brought her face closer to him until he could feel her sweet breath. "I'm sorry, darling, but I'm the best when it comes to flirting with my future husband. You're the chosen one, so be happy. I enjoyed meeting you here. I will tell my dad to arrange our marriage as soon as possible." Muyan declared, widening Yutu's eyes.
The naive girl really didn't know how dangerous her words could be. If anyone found out, it could be her doom, as it was strictly forbidden for a woman to initiate romantic advances toward a man in any kingdom. Those who broke this law faced punishment, and the young princess is not aware of it.
In Muyan's clan, it was also forbidden to have any relationship with members of the Demon Clan, punishable by a mere reprimand; although it was not life-threatening, but it could sap one's strength.
Yet, due to their close proximity, their lips almost brushed against each other.
The prince couldn't understand his feelings. His heart was beating so loudly. This feeling was really strange. If Muyan continued, he would surely lose his breath.
The prince bravely pulled his face away. "Stop doing this to me. Stop giving me butterflies. It's annoying." He said, unable to tear his eyes away from the woman's innocent face.
The audacious Muyan then placed both her hands on the back of his neck. "Honey, isn't it romantic?" She asked teasingly.
Before Ling Yutu could respond, his soldiers suddenly arrived. They immediately saluted him and glared angrily at the woman. The guards were on high alert, pointing their swords at Muyan, making her frightened. She quickly let go of Ling Yutu and hid behind him.
The prince had a mischievous idea.
"Kiss all of them! They were pointing their swords at you too." He said playfully, provoking Muyan's anger.
"You're the only one I wanted to kiss. I don't want to kiss all those fucking bastards!" Muyan pointed at the angry soldiers.
The young man looked at the girl hiding behind him and slowly turned to look at her, taking her hand. Ling Yutu noticed that the girl was genuinely scared of them, so despite his reluctance, he tried to prevent the soldiers from harming her.
He stifled a laugh when he saw her reaction.
"This is the crown prince's order: Retreat! She's my girl. I was the one who flirted with her first because I found her gorgeous. What you saw was a misunderstanding. I was planning to marry this girl as soon as possible. He lied.
The soldiers dispersed after he gave them the command.
After all the soldiers had left, the young man was confused about his actions. Why did he protect the girl from his enemy team? He touched his face, looking again at the girl's beautiful face.
When he looked at her, he saw Muyan smiling widely, nearly losing her teeth in her grin. His heart started beating rapidly.
To distract himself, Ling Yutu tried to look into the distance.
For Muyan, she felt like a Disney princess being protected by her prince. Overwhelmed with the situation, she hugged Ling Yutu and kissed him on the cheek. "Thank you!" She said.
Ling Yutu gently broke free from Muyan's hug. He felt like he was going crazy, wondering why he didn't kill the girl or let her die at the hands of his soldiers. He was now confused and seeking an answer to his question.
While he was in turmoil, he accidentally looked at Muyan again, and it seemed like he knew the answer to his earlier question. The only thing he could think of right now was that his heart raced whenever she was around.
Ling Yutu was about to send Muyan away to her kingdom since he didn't want her killed, but his mind kept telling him not to let her out of his sight.
Was it really love at first sight for him? He wasn't sure because he had no prior experience with love. Why did he feel fear when he considered sending Muyan away? Why was he afraid of the Dong Clan guards being so strict? He really didn't want the girl to be far from him.
Perhaps he wouldn't see her again if he let her go. He also didn't want to go to the Dong Clan just to see her, as he might use his power to destroy the Dong Clan if he couldn't find her. He didn't want that to happen without orders from his father, the Emperor. He wanted any conflict with the Dong Clan to be fair.
Yutu was determined to fight fairly.
He only killed Dong Clan members who trespassed into his territory. He despised outsiders entering his land, as he believed they wouldn't bring anything good to him.
He also wanted to avoid a repeat of the past when he was hurt by a Dong Clan member. Perhaps this was the reason why, whenever he saw a member of the Dong Clan in his territory, he ended their life immediately.
