The meds Jordan prescribed me made me feel weird and even more unlike myself. He said it’s normal, but I thought it was a bunch of bullshit. Since I had two weeks to get used to them, Mom and Dad arranged for me to stay home with Ryder bringing my school work home.
I have bipolar—a mental disorder with unbalanced chemicals in the brain. You need specific medication to balance them. If you don’t take your meds, your life is complete chaos. It’s up one minute, down the next. You have no control.
I laid in my bed, staring at the ceiling as I tried to process everything. The full-blown rages and a crying fit afterward. The not caring and emotions. God, the feelings became so overwhelming.
