Ch 8 Still fighting and bullies

Hazel was watching Weiss fight the Grimm in class as well as fight her own team. Hazel thought it was funny how Blake and Yang would cheer and Weiss would be fine with it but as soon as Ruby cheers she gets all upset. Finally Weiss took down the Grimm which should have happened way faster but she still gets congratulated by Professor Port who says "Bravo! Bra-vo! It appears we are indeed in the presence of a true Huntress-in-training!" Hazel watched Weiss storm out as Port said "That's the end of class." As Weiss was storming out she sent a glare at Ruby.

As Weiss is running Ruby manages to catch up to her and talk with her about what happened. "Weiss wait!" Ruby yelled. "What!?" Weiss yelled back. Ruby has a frown on her face when she said "What's wrong with you why are you acting like this?" This gets Weiss extremely annoyed thinking of how Ruby has been Weiss was angry and said "What's wrong with me? What's wrong with you? You're supposed to be a leader, and all you've been so far is a nuisance!" Ruby was shocked by this and said "What did I do?" Weiss responded with "That's just it - you've done nothing to earn your position! Back in the forest, you acted like a child, and you've only continued to do so!" Hazel was in the corner of the hall just watching them fight right now. Hazel wanted to step in before Weiss left as well to talk to Ruby after she left.

Ruby then continues "Weiss, where is this coming from? What happened to all the talk about 'working together'? I thought you believed in acting as a team." Weiss then said after sighing "Not a team led by you Ozpin made the wrong choice." Weiss was then about to leave but then Hazel said "He might have." This got Weiss to stop and Ruby to look down. Hazel continued "Weiss no one makes the right choice everytime especially Ozpin. But also no one becomes a good leader in one day. You should also realize we are in our first year of school. I don't know why you would expect Ruby to be a great and perfect leader on the first day. It also definitely doesn't help ruby when one of her team members disagrees, argues, or gives dirty looks at every decision or even when she opens her mouth." Hazel then turned to Ruby " Honestly Ruby Weiss does have some points you need to step it up and lead this team because honestly right now Ozpin did make the wrong choice. But if you work at it and improve then Ozpin made the right choice it's up to you and how you lead this team." Hazel saw Weiss smirk a bit and went back to her "Weiss tell me what would you do as leader." Weiss was stunned by the question and said "I would uhh make us on time to class for starts." Hazel shook his head and said "If that's what you come up with you have stuff to work on as well. Why don't you two think about it." With that Weiss left angrily and Ruby left thinking about what to do in opposite directions.

Then Ozpin came out of where he was in a different hallway. "You think I made the wrong choice Hazel." Hazel shook his head and said "Which time you talking about?" This caused Ozpins glasses to fall a bit. Hazel continued "If your talking about Ruby then no I don't think you did. She just needs some extra motivation and to grow up a bit plus with the potential of her silver eyes she could be a power house. But when it comes to many other things I think you do make the wrong choices." Ozpin questioned "Such as what?" Hazel shook his head again. "I won't say much but some secrets are meant to be shared by many instead of just yourself." Hazel then walked away going to his room to relax.

Hazel made it to his room and was wondering what to do. He thought about everything that has happened recently and he was happy so far he wanted to see Neo again but didn't know where she was he knew they were located at the warehouses at the docks but he didn't know which warehouses. Hazel thought 'I know that team RWBY runs into Neo when they try to infiltrate the white fang and Roman gets in a mecha but I can't remember how much longer that is. Maybe I can ask Roman where she is when I see him at the docks where Blake ends up being. Hhhhuhh well that's stuff I can worry about later I guess. Might as well sleep I know there are classes tomorrow and I think I'm going to have to put some on in their place.

Hazel woke up the next day and went to class. The class was taught by Glynda and it was mainly focused on sparring. Hazel rose his hand after awhile and asked if he could fight Pyrrah. Glynda agreed as the two of them were problem the strongest and had the most experience. Hazel stood across from Pyrrah now as Glynda announced for them to start. Then Hazel activated his black aura because it was stronger against humans. Pyrrah then said "If your not going to make the first move I will!" Pyrrah then started to charge at Hazel. Hazel shook his head and pulled at both of his revolvers. He started to shoot at her so Pyrrah started to charge with her shield causing her to block the bullets. After see omg this Hazel shot her shield and legs at the same time. Pyrrah saw where his second gun was aimed so she jumped in the air making herself a middle with her shield ramming into Hazel. At this point Pyrrah thought she could do some damage to Hazel by bashing him a bit with her shield but when she looked up she saw that Hazel had caught her shield and only moved back a couple steps. Hazel then kicked her sending her back where she started causing her to lose a bit of aura.

Hazel then put his revolvers away and started to slowly walk with both his swords out. This time Pyrrah started to shoot at him but with his preflexes he dodged each shot easily. And started to swing at Pyrrah putting her on the defensive. She then started to use her semblance on hazels swords making them slightly off from target. Hazel saw this and knew what was going on and put them away as he did this he started going in hand to hand combat with her and that's when the fight was truly over he was able to knock her spear away and did a flip around her while holding her shield causing her arm to be caught behind her back. "Hazel then said yield or I will snap your arm." Pyrrah sighed and said "I yield." Hazel nodded and then let go. Seeing all this the class was shocked by how easily it seemed that Hazel handled Pyrrah. When they saw their auras the class noticed that hazel only lost 2 percent of his aura where Pyrrah was more than halfway gone. Hazel was walking off the stage smiling with his ears twitching a bit from excitement as well as his tail. Ruby Yang and Blake saw this and thought it was cute. Pyrrah was following Hazel and decided to sit next to him to talk about the fight. Glynda congratulated him and started to create a match up for the next fight that's when Hazel heard Glynda say "Jaune vs. Cardin."
