"How was it?" Lila asked her daughter, opening the door and expectantly anticipating the good news of how the dinner with the alpha and his queens.

"The queens looked at me so hatefully," Leila replied, as she walked in feeling a bit exhausted from all the pressure that she had to take from all the stares she got from the other queens.

The room had been choked with the hate that she perceived from the concubines, who stared at her with a deadly gaze. It was quite relaxing and soothing the moment she finally stepped out of the alpha's fortress. It had her wondering just how the queens were able to live in such an environment.

"It's normal for them to be that way at first. They will get used to you eventually, just give them a little time," Lila replied her daughter, trying her best to dispel the doubtful thoughts that were threatening to build up.
