When she woke up again, it was completely dark outside. Qin Kaize was still holding her as he did before, his steady breathing indicating he was asleep too.
"Ze, Jiajia, are you awake?" Grandma Lin gently knocked on the door from outside.
"Yes," Qin Kaize replied lazily, his eyes opening at some point.
Su Yijia hurriedly pushed him away and stood up. Qin Kaize shifted his legs, feeling a tingling sensation from being pressed, which made him grunt.
"Serve you right for being so careless," Su Yijia teased triumphantly.
"It's okay. Being able to hug my wife is worth a little discomfort," Qin Kaize said shamelessly.
Su Yijia couldn't help but roll her eyes, unable to suppress a smile.
After tidying up their clothes, she pushed the wheelchair out of the room. There were many dishes laid out on the table outside, even more than before, obviously to celebrate Qin Kaize's full recovery. And to allow him to eat more, the dishes were intentionally made lighter.
