In front of Vita we're multiple sheets of paper each with a rank and description with the name of the technique on the top. Master Nox said that he needed a valid way of fighting because what he did before was insufficient for his potential.

Vita's young voice said "what does the Rank next to each technique mean?"

Master Nix responded seriously "The rank represents the potential of the technique when using the "Qi" it basically defines how strong their effect and destructiveness can be. There is a rank for every technique and magic and there is a rank even for cultivators, but I will explain the cultivator's part once your dantian is developed and can store enough Qi for use."

Vita started to think again, looking at the sheets in his hands.

'I guess I can already reject the Ainsworth shadow sword style since it's rank 1. The fire fist style seems cool, especially for the permanent use of my body cultivation, but I got quite familiar with the twin swords in my last so I should stick with it.'
