Cam started at the mention of the name. “Dr. Karen Amos?” she asked. When Sonya nodded, Cam chuckled. “Oh yes, I know her quite well.” How could she tell Sonya how many years she’d spent with that beautiful blond who was a med student, and then an intern? Was Baltimore that small?

“You seem to have quite a list of ex-lovers.” Sonya grinned. “I should get you stoned more often.” She picked up the few items on the bed table that belonged to Cam.

“Who else did I talk about last night?” Cam was almost afraid to ask.

“I’m not really sure. There was Charlie and Michael, whoever they are. Was Charlie your father? You seemed quite upset that you’d let him down.”

Cam stopped as they started to leave the room. “What did I say about him?” That was the last thing she wanted Sonya or anyone around here to know. Charlie had trained her when she began with the DEA.
