Bring the details of the maid

After erasing herself and everything related to her from Sonya's memory, Sonya fell unconscious. Clara quickly reacted and helped the girl to lay in a comfortable position on the bed, covered her with a blanket and placed a soft kiss on the her forehead.

"I'm sorry." she muttered. 

....

Meanwhile at Leo's side.

"You are telling me they haven't woken up? were they hit by lightning or what?" Leo bombard his butler with questions.

"Sir, your condition is getting worse and you have not stepped out of the house for the past five days now. Should I call a doctor over, if don't wish to visit the hospital?"  Mick asked looking worried. If anyone sees Leo now; they might think he is crazy. His usual calm and collected self was now the opposite, his hair is messy, while the bags under his eyes looks like it could store an item already.

I'...m...m,' Leo stammered, he couldn't even summoned the courage to say that he's fine, as he knew he is the opposite of fine right now.

"Sir please," Mick begged.

"It's alright, I'm sorry for worrying you, I only need to sleep and I will be fine," Leo assured the man. He has been taking care of him since little and he knew how much the man cared for him. 

"Bring the details  of that maid please," Leo said.

"Which maid?" Mick asked confused.

"The one I asked you to fire recently." he didn't understand why he felt guilty at the mentioned of firing the girl. 

"It might not be possible sir." Mick replied.

"And why is that? Did you hire without taking down information?" Leo raised his voice at him.

"Sir?" Mick couldn't help but feel worried again.

"I'm  sorry." Leo apologised. This is unlike him. The man has been managing the residence before his parents death till date and will never do something like this without a reason, his condition is getting worse, he needs to locate Clara at all cost.

"Due to the constant mistakes of the workers, which lead to you asking for them to be fired; I reset the rules. I only take down details of workers that managed to maintain their job for a total of six month. Workers below six months are considered to be undergoing test. They received the normal salary but haven't been officially hired yet," Mick explained 

"So you're telling me, that lady has not spent up to six months?" Leo asked 

"It's her first day," Mick replied 

'What! her first day at work and she got fired, no wonder she was so angry at me that day.' Leo roared internally. Only now did he realise how he has been rash with his way of firing his resident's workers. 

"The CCTV must have captured her face, get a private investigator to bring me every information about that lady, and let him know I need the result by tomorrow," Leo said.

[Back at Clara's side]

She packed her belongings, erased everything related to her and took Sonya's cell phone and left. She went back to her former home, which is her only inheritance. The two had left the house to put the past and pain behind them.

Just like that, the two fools were separated.

The first fool actually believes a psychologist will detect brain issues on a sedated patient. even if such a thing is possible; the technology to achieve such a feat cannot be brought to their apartment, and she nearly put her friend's life at a stranger's hand.

The second fool did not think of this possibility as well and actually left her friend to deal with the man.

After a few hours; a knock was heard at Sonya's door. Matthew arrived an hour late to make Sonya feel that he is an important and a busy man. 

After constant knocking; Sonya finally opened her eyes, she got up and felt strange. She touched her cheek and felt the wet liquid of her tears on her palm, her heart hurt but she couldn't understand why it is so. She cleaned her face and made her way to answer the door.

Immediately she did; she saw a strange man who started talking like they knew each other before.

"I apologize for being late miss, my day was really hectic. I managed to come due to the promise I made." Matthew said expecting Sonya to thank him but instead he was shocked when Sonya looked at him like he was nothing.

This is Sonya normal attitude. She despised people who think they are too important. If you're important; others will acknowledged without you having to show off and this man right in front of her is trying to make her think highly of him. 

She scoffed and gave a long sigh before responding to the man, "excuse me, are you lost?"  Sonya asked looking at Matthew like a piece of joke.

Matthew smile froze when he heard those words and his expression suddenly changed, 'was this girl toying with me?' he thought

He brought out his identity card once again and show it to her. After looking at it, Sonya squinted her face and ask him what business he had with her.

"How about you invite me in first and I will explain everything to you." Matthew said as they were still standing at the doorstep.

"I'm sorry but no." Sonya said and tried to shut the door.

Seeing this, Matthew lost it and push the door open with Sonya still behind it. Sonya staggered and nearly fell down, which led to her letting out a loud scream out of shock.

Gregory who was not far from the area heard the noise and made his way to the source.
