Chapter 45: Boutique Showdown

I spent the next couple of times enjoying some down time and following the news. Apparently, Sabrina, Lauren, Nikolina and I were the frontrunners according to the citizens of Monaco. It was conflicting for me. On the one hand, I was happy that Lauren was finally being taken seriously and is considered as a strong candidate. On the other hand, going up against Sabrina and Nikolina wasn't going to be a walk in the park.

I'm sure they had a couple of tricks up their sleeves that they will play at the last minute to get their odds in their favor. I wouldn't expect anything less. I knew Lauren would never play dirty to beat them. And she shouldn't have to. She was above all of their ways. This was one of the reasons why I think she and Harper would be the perfect fit.

I'll just have to give her one last edge!

It was finally time to head back to the palace. We took an early evening plane ride, and we were soon touching down on the tarmac.
