Intro into the world

dashing around the building a wolf the size of a small car barely avoided the blade that closed off the alley way she was using as an escape path. having no way to escape she tried to hide behind some trash that was left in the alley way as she prepared a means to escape as she is about to give birth which couldn't come at a worse time. Using half of her power she used a skill to create a portal which could only be used once as she is not a high enough level to gain proficiency in the skill. Before she could react a chain latched onto her hind leg and tossed her into the alley wall which doubled with child birth and exhaustion hurt as she tried to get free of both the chain and stone wall. just as she wiggled free from the wall and darted towards the portal a shadow hand grabbed her by the scruff of the neck and slammed her nose first back into the wall and then the ground with enough force to create a mini creator that outlined her body which quickly filled with blood. Dizzy from the impact and blood loss of both the birth and wounds she barely managed to chomp on her attackers foot with the last remaining strength as her vision faded. Overcome with pain from his left leg he didn't realize the pair of eyes watching him which seethed with anger. Cutting open the wolf from the chest down he removed the newborn and cast magic on the wounded animal which stabilized her condition as he turned around to leave he took one last look at her before he left her with a sentence "it didn't have to be this way, it is but one...child" as he finished his sentence the last word he almost choked on which left his guard down as the shadows stirred. Hit by a Giant black paw with claws extended that shredded his chest and left him gasping on the floor in a puddle of his blood with life slowly leaking out of him as the attacker was revealed another wolf bigger then the female that had a new born wolf pup in his jaws as he made his way to the closing portal he failed to notice a blast of power from the dying man as he shrieked "No it is mine..MINE" with a spark of insanity in both his voice and eyes. the wolf managed to get half his body through as the blast exploded on the remaining lower half engulfing it in flames. The wolf struggled to pull its body through the portal using its front paws playing tug of war with the closing portal which shrunk in size and was held at bay by the layer of energy the wolf put off as much strength as he could his grunts covering the winces wolf pup. After inching his way free he was only a charade hind leg left as the portal suddenly collapsed severing his leg in the process. Overcome with fatigue at the events that followed the huge black wolf tried to locate where the portal sent him as he had to make sure the child was safe first as the lose he was feeling needed a direction to cover it in temporary need of survival. Feeling sleep overtake him he curled under a nearby tree as his statue covers the barely 5 1/2 ft oak tree and acts as a shield for the pup to get warm and rest. With his injures he knew life is at a close for his chapter as sleep overtook him into the memories of his new life. His last breath was to cast his racial skill <chronos phase> and direct it at his child "We wanted nothing but the best for you little one... just know we will always have a place in your life...follow your........bloo" his skill and life ended his words sloshed and broke as his words echoed in the void of death.
