A RUDE ENCOUNTER

I woke up with the bright sunshine kissing my cheeks straight through my penthouse windows, I just sat in my bed going through tons of thoughts where I was and where I am today.

YESS!! Today the day I waited so long to reach, today is the day when world will come to know what actually "ALEXIA ROYCE" is capable to do,

8 hours left to attend the award function in NY city, a sense of happiness rushed on my face, I felt a sense of satisfaction hit me for the first time in my life,

I got out of my bed and started to organise my room that I messed up last night in search of my journal.

today am feeling really different I will achieve what I wanted my whole life, a question came to my mind what will be my next obsession as I am confident that I will win my position in business world, then suddenly my phone rang! calling me out from the world of my thoughts,

as I reached my phone and received a call, Hello!! alexia speaking who's this?,

a strong deep male voice said in a sarcastic way "You little bit*h!! you really think that you're going to win tonight" continues with a cold laugh Ahaha!! its been excited to see you come so far let's meet tonight at the Award Function i really want to see you with same confidence when you loose!.... and that's it the call ended,

who? who could be the mystery caller? aahh! just another competitor who felt devastated, can't handle failure. I smiled and proceeded to continue my regular duties, i decided to bake a cake today to make my day start with a spike of some sugar, as expected my cake was perfect in taste and appearance, I loved to make things as perfect as I can.

After I finished my breakfast and dessert, "betty" came and sat on my lap my sweet little pet friend or I should say my only friend as I have some serious trust issues due to my business life has been different for me with every step towards my dream,

my doorbell rang as I was lost in my thoughts, I checked my entrance camera to see my designer Mr.Ruffle who came to deliver my outfit for the night award function,

Mr. Ruffle said to me , Alexia!! come on try it on I know for sure men are going to fall for you tonight at the function!! I gave him a soft glare and he spoke again by saying,

oh come on darling!! you're my best client so far I don't want to have any issue with the outfit on you're big achievement day!,

I decided to try it on as Mr.Ruffle insisted me,

as soon as I came out changing room to see Mr.Ruffle and my assistant Roma with wide eyes as if they have seen a ghost, Mr.Ruffle designed a perfect thigh high slit dress with amazing blood red coloured velvet fabric, I stared at them with crossed arms in a silent way to tell me what is up with them, Roma broke the silence with a word

GODDESS!! you are looking so stunning and Mr.Ruffle interrupted her by saying I knew you will rock in this outfit!! I thanked them both for working hard with me,

Mr. Ruffle left and Roma started to handle the schedule for the day.

I had two meetings today with the two business partners of one of the leading business co. in the states, "THE ROYALE GROUP OF BUSINESS CO." I asked Roma with a confusion on my face, why two meetings they are partners they can come along and be finished with the work at the same time,

Roma answered my question with a gossiping sarcastic tone, Don't you know that the ROYALE brothers are going through some tough time in personal life? those two cousins were in a courtroom hearing on their case about property and business dispute. Oh! I see, I answered to Roma, let's see what these brothers have to do with our companies. I asked her to postpone those meetings for tomorrow as I wanted to focus on the big event today.

Finally the night came, I got dressed up in my pretty red dress and left for the event in my limo, as soon as I reached at 7 star luxurious hotel in NY a bunch of media reporters came rushing to me to ask questions, I went inside the hotel in a rush while bouncers at the event hold them, in a hurry I bumped into someone, I felt masculine chest hitting my face, I immediately took a step back and apologised to him as soon as I lifted my head up only to see a handsome and cold man standing in branded tuxedo, he was a bit more in a rush than me, he didn't even saw my face and left,

I wonder who that could be ? I asked myself.

after that incident I proceeded to take an elevator a the event was taking place on the 34th floor of the building I went inside the elevator and as the elevator reached on 10th floor another handsome man stepped inside and I noticed a tattoo on his hand of a roaring lion that defining that he belongs to ROYALE family as their logo and official family symbol, I saw his eyes widen to see me, suddenly the stranger asked me you must be a visitor at the event here I haven't such a pretty woman here lately, he grabbed my hand and pulled closer as the elevator reached on 34th floor I gave him a hard and angry stare and pushed him hard, I decided to not answer him and proceeded for the event, Urrghh!!! What a jerk! and suddenly I recognised his voice it's the same one I heard this morning on call that unknown call, WHY? Why Royale family is trying to reach me? what do they have to do with me or my business? I was thinking about these questions while entering the event hall,

I saw every eye in that hall was staring at me as I looked bold in that crowd, from the middle of the crowd in that hall I saw Roma coming towards me to receive me as the host of the night came on mike and welcomed me by saying,
