"What are you doing here Jack? aren't you going to enjoy the party and the girls?" Paisley asked and he scoffed.

'I would rather have a dance with you Seraphina" he responded and her eyes widened then she sighed.

"Okay as long as you don't get too close," she said.

'I promise I will stay within my limits" he replied as he brought forth his hand and she grabbed it then he twirled her onto the dance floor and she smiled as he placed his hand around her waist and she placed her hand on his shoulder as they danced and Paisley smiled.

"You are a good dancer," Seraphina said as the dancers were switching.

"You are even better, thanks though" Jack replied and she smiled as she switched and ended up in the prince's arm then she sighed as he placed his hand around her waist and she placed hers on his shoulder.

"Didn't expect to see you dancing since you really like to be by yourself, what are you a nerd?" he asked.

'Maybe I am but I don't see how that is your problem" she responded in a calm yet rude tone.

'Oh so you do know to answer back at first when you didn't talk at all I was starting to think you are mute" he said and she sighed.

'I am sorry your highness but I really do not care what you think of me and I will never care, so please spare me" she replied as they switched and she ended up back in Jack's hand and she sighed.

"What's the matter?" Jack asked.

"The prince is a pain and I really do not like him" she responded and he smiled.

'Give him a chance he is not that much of a horrible person except to the people who he does not like at all" Jack said.

'Well clearly I am among one of them who he does not like" she replied.

'Damn sorry about all of this, things are not always great here and during the competition, there will be no classes except practicing magic and training" he said and she sighed.

"I wouldn't do magic so from whoever I have one class well not class I only have to train" she replied.

'It is from tomorrow, I just heard the teachers talking about it, but you are required to study because the teachers will be doing an exam after the competition, they gave us a timetable so we have to study the subjects and there are only two more days until the event begins" he said and she smiled.

'Well I guess we all have to work hard, I wish you good luck Jack" she replied and he sighed.

"I am not looking forward to it but thanks and I wish you good luck too," he said.

'Thank you and why aren't you looking forward to it?" she asked as she switched and the prince grabbed onto her hand pulling her towards him and she smiled as Jack laughed.

'Aren't looking forward to what?" he asked.

'I was not talking to you" she responded as she downed her head and he smiled.

'You will trip and fell if you don't look up" he said and she looked up then he smiled as he pulled her closer to him and her eyes widened.

'Aren't you a little too close?" she asked.

'How old are you?" she asked.

"I am 19 and no I am not too close, do you have a problem?" he asked.

'Yes my problem is you" she mumbled and he smiled.

'I heard that you better be careful because I am your teacher and if I say you show no progression at all you can fail the academy, after all, you applied for the training, not every student can train to fight and knows how to fight only those who know and are interested apply, be careful with how you speak to me" he said.

'Fil me if you want I will not hold back from speaking what I really think of you" she replied and he left staring at her as the music stopped and she walked away from her.

"I told you she needs to know her place," Scarlet said as she went to him and the prince smiled wickedly.

"She looks clumsy and if she doesn't care but also brave to talk to me like that even though I am her master, that's brave, I give her points for that even though I don't like here, there is no need to bully anyone SScarlet, what you did at school was wrong, she is my student, my responsibly that my father gave to me remember that I always fulfill my duty" he replied as he looked at her sternly then walked away and she scoffed.

"Seraphina" someone called out and when she turned around she saw it was the art teacher.

"Miss Lia" she replied as the woman came to her.

"You look beautiful, can you come with me for a moment?" she asked.

'Sure" Seraphina responded as the woman walked away and she followed her.

'Your highness" Lia called out.

'This is the king Cassian" Lia whispered as the king turned around and they bowed then he smiled.

"I take it this is the artist?" the king asked.

"Yes," Lia responded.

"Your highness," Seraphina said.

"Seraphina, no need to bow, you are my son's student and a great artist, can you draw me?" he asked and she smiled.

'Yes," she responded.

'Good tomorrow I would like you to paint me and the queen together, also I hard you joined the competition, the tournaments can be a little hard so I wish you good luck" he said as the prince came and she sighed upon seeing him and he smiled.

"Thank you your highness" she replied.

"Son, you will bring her to the castle tomorrow that's your responsibility to fulfill, and Seraphina if he harasses you in any way do tell me, enjoy the party," the king said and she smiled then he left and she looked at the prince who winked at her then walked away and Seraphina turned away in anger.
