Paisley's mother

Upon hearing what Paisley said Seraphina smiled nervously.

"This horse belongs to him?" she asked as they arrived in the city and Paisley smiled.

'Yes it is but he rescued the horse, your Prince never let him ride him, he always put up a fight I guess he doesn't really like him" she responded and Seraphina sighed.

"Are you afraid of Aurelius?" Paisley asked and Seraphina sighed as she got off of her horse.

'No I am not" she responded and Paisley laughed.

"Are you sure about that?" she asked.

"Yes I am" she responded as they walked with their horses and people was looking at them and as usual the city was very pretty along with busy.

"If you are saying so then I will believe you," Paisley said and Seraphina scoffed as they came to a huge brown building with a sign board and pretty carving at the front.

'Someone rich lives here seems like it's a clothing store, Jinny's design" Seraphina said as a boy same to them and collected their horses but Prince was being stubborn.

'I live here, he is the stable boy" Paisley said as the gate at the side of the building opened then she patted Prince on the head and he went with the boy quietly as her eyes widened when she saw a huge mansion with fancy fountains behind the huge building and she smiled.

'Mom" Paisley called out as she opened the house door and they entered then Seraphina smiled upon string at how luxurious it was, there were fancy paintings along with ornament and chandeliers.

"You are a rich kid, sure don't act like one, I like that about you," Seraphina said and Paisley smiled then hugged the girl and Seraphina patted her on the shoulder then she raised up.

'Thank you and sorry I just do hugs when I am excited" she said.

'It's fine and you are welcome" she replied.

'Paisley" her blonde mother called out as she walked into the hall and hugged the girl then looked at Seraphina.

"Paisley who is this?" her mother asked.

'This is my friend, Seraphina she is new" she responded.

'Well Seraphina welcome to our humble home, I am her mother and my name is Jinny, pleased to meet you" she said and they shook hands.

'Likewise ma'am" she replied.

'Oh no need to be so formal, call me Jinny, you make me sound old by calling me ma'am" she said and Paisley laughed.

'Paisley sweetheart I am very delighted to see you but what are you doing here?" her mother asked.

'The party tonight mom, dresses" she responded and the mother sighed.

"Oh yes I almost forgot about that, well you guys follow me to the shop I have perfect dresses for both of you," she said as she walked out of the mission and they went into the shop and Seraphina left jaw dropped upon seeing all of the fancy clothing it was not different from back home.

"You girls take a look around in the meantime, your friend is a beauty, my latest design will look perfect for its an evening party," her mother said and Paisley smiled.

"Get it, let's see it please mom" she replied.

'Sure" she said then went to get the dress while they looked around.

"What do you want to wear paisley?" she asked and the girl sighed.

'I don't know as yet, we might last all afternoon just looking at dresses and the party is at night, we might run out of time" she responded.

'I like simple so I won't take much time getting dressed" she said and the girl smiled.

'Well I guess we are all different in our own ways" Paisley replied and Seraphina smiled.

'Yeah we are, some of us are monstrous and some are not" she said with a sigh and the girl patted her on the shoulder.

'So girls I have the dress here" her mother said as she came back and they smiled.

"Let's see it," Paisley said and Seraphina smiled.

'I will take it" she said.

'Are you sure?" the mother asked.

"Yeah, it's pretty, how much?" Seraphina asked and the woman along with Paisley laughed and she left staring at them.

'What is it?" she asked and the woman looked at her.

"You are my daughter's friend and she seems to really like you, I would never take money from you, you are a very sweet kid" she responded and Seraphina's eyes widened as she downed her hand and the woman handed her the dress in the bag and she collected it.

"Thank you," she said.

'You are welcome, now here is your dress sweetie, you girls enjoy yourself at the party, soon the main competition of the year will be starting and it's more dangerous, the tournaments are well... going to be bad for some people, are you joining Paisley?" her mother asked with tension clearly written on her face.

"This year the rules are strict more serious consequences so you don't need to worry mom and yes I joined, nothing will be unfair" she responded and the mother smiled in relief.

"As long as you are fine and come out of there alive nothing else in the world matters to me or your father but you be careful," her mother said and she smiled then kissed her on the cheek and the mother looked at Seraphina.

'Are you participating too?" she asked and Seraphina smiled.

'Yes unfortunately I am" she responded.

'You are a beauty, are you are you want to take part and do you have great skills?" the mother asked.

"I am not so sure but I believe in Seraphina, she can do this" Paisley said, and Seraphina smiled.

'It will be night in a few hours, you girls should head back and start prepping" her mother said.

"Sure, I will see you soon mom" she replied then kissed her mother and they left the shop then went to get their horses from the stable and took off.
