First day of training with the brat

After they finished having their ice creams that night they all returned back to the mansion.

"Good night guys," Jack said as he looked at Seraphina and she smiled.

'Good night" she replied then went to her room, locked the door and threw herself back on the bed, and sighed.

"I came here for one thing peace, if I get them to like me enough I can prove my kind is not bad well not all of us, I just hope we can have a peace treaty, I thought I could make friends with a royal from the king's side but his son turned out to be a brat and well at least the king likes me so far," she said to herself with a frown then the girl got up and changed into her nightdress and went out into the balcony.

'Night is so calm, peaceful" she said as she closed her eyes inhaling the fresh air.

"Tomorrow is the first day of training with that..." she said as she came back into the room and locked the balcony door then got in bed and switched off the lights and stretched off and a little while after she fell asleep.

The next morning when the girl woke up she got out of bed and the first thing she did was went to freshen up then got dressed and left the room.

'Good morning" she said as she entered the dining hall and only a few students were having breakfast.

'Sit and eat, today is the second to last day before the first tournament, best you are fully energetic for your training," Jack said and she smiled.

"Okay," she replied then took her food and began eating.

While the girl was eating the prince walked in and sat down then she looked at him and he smiled wickedly.

'Good morning" he said.

'Good morning your highness" she replied as she poured herself a glass of orange juice then he grabbed it and she sighed then looked at him as he drank it.

"Hurry up we have training to do, my first will be to test how focused you are especially in a fight," he said and she smiled.

'I assure you that I will not lose to you" she said and he smiled then Scarlet came.

'New girl get up I want to sit there" she said as she pulled out the chair and they all looked at her.

"Can't you hear properly?" she asked as the prince smiled and Seraphina looked at him sternly then folded her cuffs.

'Get up" Scarlet said as she was about to shove the chair and Jack grabbed onto her hand and her eyes widened and the prince looked at him and Seraphina flung up from the chair.

'Stay out of this Jack" Scarlet said.

'Stop bullying someone because they are better than you" Paisley said.

'Oh... there you heard it" Jack said then moved away from Scarlet and she looked at Seraphina sternly.

'I am a quiet person, I love to be by myself and I did not come here to be bullied by a brat, this is my last warning to you sweetheart, stop messing around with me please," she said then looked at the prince.

"You said we have the training, I want to get it over with please," she said then walked away and the others left for their training with other instructors.

'Come on" the prince said as he walked out of the mansion and she followed him to the arena.

'Stand straight" he said and she looked at him sternly but did as told.

"Do you use your senses in a battle?" he asked.

'Of course, you do, it helps more than some people think" she responded.

'Good now close your eyes" he said and she sighed as he walked up to her and took a handkerchief out of his pockets.

'What are you doing?" she asked as she felt his fresh minty breath gush against her cheek and he placed the handkerchief over her eyes blindfolding her then smiled.

'This is the east part of the arena is a section people don't come because I train here, you can train freely as well since you are my crazy student" he said.

'Excuse me" she replied.

'You are excused" he said and she sighed.

"Now I am going to attack you, I don't care if I hurt you, take out your sword and defend yourself" he replied and she took out her sword then inhaled then exhaled.

'Are you ready?" he asked.

'Can I ask you something?" she asked as she listen to his footsteps as he moved around her.

"Go ahead" he responded.

"I must never let anyone see even a little too much of my skills unless I really need to use it though this is a sword fight, it's normal if you are skilled in that," she said to herself.

"Were you always like this your highness?" she asked.

"Trying to play a smartass, why is it that it's easy to like other girls and yet I can't seem to even like you a bit?" he asked and she smiled as she stopped hearing his footsteps and she sighed as he was about to attack her but she booked his attacking after sensing the change of wind direction beside her and he smiled wickedly.

"Your senses are good but which one are you using?" he asked as he moved away and she held on tightly to her sword ignoring every word that he was saying.

'She is no fool that I do know now, let's see how good she is with her feet," he thought as he looked at the way she held onto her sword then he rushed to her and spun around lifting himself up in the air and she smiled then jumped up as he passed underneath her then he balanced his body and landed back on his feet then she exhaled and he laughed as she held a strong position.
