'Seraphina" a girl called out and she looked up as the girl walked at her from below and she smiled.

'Hi," she said.

'Can you come down here for a moment?" she shouted and Seraphina got up then went back down and the girl grabbed onto her hand.

'Would you like to be my friend? I know we have just met but we are all living in one of the biggest mansions in this kingdom, no separation for boys and girls we are basically like family, you will get to know me with time" she said and Seraphina left staring at her.

"Y... yeah sure" she responded nervously.

"Okay well tomorrow we are going shopping for the party, do you want to come along?" she asked.

'Sure, uh.. what's your name?" she asked.

'My name is Paisley" she responded.

'Well nice to meet you, people here are awfully friendly" she said and Paisley laughed.

'Yes that we are and you are really quiet, nice art, by the way, half of the academy heard from your art teacher" Paisley replied.

"Thank you," she said as she folded her cuffs.

'Are you feeling hot with the glowed, I mean yes it's a fingerless glove but why are you wearing it?" she asked.

'I don't know, I like it" Seraphina responded and the girl sighed.

'I get it, well we since it's your first day, in this academy you learn normal stuff but mostly magic and not just anyone gets into this academy mostly the rich and the intelligent, seems like you are both, not that it matters but you should be careful, some people can be well you know..." Paisley said.

'Don't worry I understand, trust me I do" she replied and the girl smiled.

'Then you and I will get along fine, what's your main weapon?" the girl asked.

'Sword" she responded.

'Okay, and your element?" the girl asked.

'My element is well you will see later on" she responded and the girl smiled.

"I can't wait," she said.

'Well you guys have been here for a walk, everyone has a timetable by now so be at your classes on time, that's all for today" the instructor said then left.

'Well we will go back to the mansion now I could use some rest then we have element class in the morning, if you don't know which is your and not everyone has then you will be able to figure it out, no one has an element they can specifically control but it's mixed within their powers, well not everyone has power" she said nad Seraphina smiled.

'I am hungry I think we should head back now" she replied and was about to leave but Jack grabbed onto her arm and she looked at him.

'What is it?" she asked.

'Rember our deal" he responded and she sighed.

"It's my first day and I already have responsibilities, it's fine I made a deal I will keep up to it, relax," she said then he released her and she left with the girl.

While they were heading back to the mansion she noticed the prince was leaving the academy and she smiled.

"What do you know about him?" Seraphina asked.

'You are asking me? yikes, I am afraid of him, most people are, it's almost night let's hurry" Paisley said.

Upon returning to the mansion they sat down in the living room and Paisley sighed.

"Training will eventually kill me," Paisley said Seraphina stretched off.

'Ladies dinner will be served in half an hour, now please be on time if not everything will be in the kitchen that you will need" the head cook said as she came and Seraphina got up.

'Well I am going to my room, I will see you later" Seraphina said and Paisley smiled.

'See ya" she replied then the girl went to her room and placed her bag on the couch as her eyes glowed red and she took her gloves off then bit her hand and blood ran down her finger.

"Damn sometimes it's hard to control," she said to herself then raised up and her hands healed up and she smiled as she took her uniform off then went to take a bath.

After she finished taking her bath she got into her track pants with a vest and a soft jacket then they rang a bell for dinner and she left her room and went down to the dining hall which had three long tables adding on to another room since there were a lot of students.

'Good night Jack said as the girl sat down with Paisley.

'Good night" she replied.

"You are fully clothed, you are quite a decent girl," Jack said as he sat with her.

'Yes I am" she replied as she took her food then began eating.

While they were eating a girl dressed all fancy in a short pink night dress walked into the hall with a few other girls and sat down.

'So you are the new girl?" she asked and Seraphina looked at her sternly.

'Yes," she responded.

'You made quite an impression on your first day, don't you think it was too much?" she asked.

'I don't think so" she responded and the girl folded her cuffs then Paisley smiled.

'Seems like you have met your match Scarlet" Paisley said and Scarlet scoffed.

"Does she think she is better than me?" the girl asked and Seraphina folded her cuffs.

'Why would I think that when I don't even know you?" she asked and the girl gasped then Jack laughed.

'You.." Scarlet said as she got up.

'Enough Scarlet, that's enough, let's eat in pace and stop messing around with her" Jack said and Seraphina ignored her then continued eating.

'You must ignore her, she is a rich guy's brat child, she is spoiled and likes to do as she pleases" Jack said and Seraphina looked at her sternly then smiled.
