Land in the West

As the sun blazes more the group has finally reached their destination.

"Home," Jonathan says to himself. 

"You've only been gone for a week and you're that homesick" Ashe remarks. 

GROWL 

"Finally I can geeeeeet something to eat," Ezekiel says exhaustedly lying down on the scorpion's back and pumping his fist up into the sky. 

"So THAT is Boundera?" Jericho questions as he sets his eyes on a 30-foot wall made of sandstones, a giant door letting people pass through with their cattle and wagons. A little water canel connects all around the entrance reaching one end to the other. "More Greener and palm trees in this part of the desert? How come we didnt see anything before we came here?"

"Boundera is almost hidden from the map. We like to keep it that way many people believe that we live in huts and are a small town but that is not true" Ashe says.

"It is like a desert paradise if you will"

Scorpions stop as they reach the door. One by one they get off.

Jericho jumps off the scorpion landing on two feet.

"Urggh" Axel slowly comes down from the the scorpion.

"You alright?" Jericho puts his hand on his back.

"Am alright its just just the ride was.. HMPH" Axel covers his mouth. "Los... Losing my glasses made my vision, blurry and my head spin spinning. Catching a ride on that thing was. Not. Not good."

Ezekiel hops off his Scorpion planting his feet on the ground "Hungry Hungry. Oh yeah thank you" as he waves goodbye to the Scorpion. 

LAND LAND 

Jonathan hops off so does Ashe. He walks away towards the door scathing his head and yawning. Ashe turns to the Emperor Scorpion as she puts her head to it like a dog to its owner. "Thank you again. Please watch the perimeters for us as usual and report to me if anything."

The scorpions slowly disappear within the sands of Boundera. 

"Now let's head on inside" Ashe leads the group followed by Ezekiel and Jonathan standing side by side with Jericho and Axel. Jonathan looks briefly behind him why are you so tense for Mr.Knight? We ain't going to kill ya."

"That am sure of because I would kill you on the spot."

"It sure didnt look like you could hell you couldn't even do anything back there. Hell Mr.Student Council President was more effective in that fight"

"Damn you" Jericho takes a stance.

"Aren't you exhausted, Mr.Knight? We had a pretty long day. But we can have a little scuffle just me and you" Jonathan readies himself.

"You will not fight here," Ashe says in a deep and stern voice. As both of them stop what they were about to do and look forward. "I understand your concerns um" "Am Jericho Pearson Dragonclad and this is the Student Council President of Aurora Saint Academy Axel Friedman" "Nice to meet you all now Jericho and Axel rest assured we will help you guys get back to Aiz"

"I am just trying to eat," Ezekiel says.

"Yes dont worry my fellow Twelve Star there will be plenty of food"

The door slowly comes down.

A walkway is made of a wooden door. 

"Come let us guide you. Let's go, Jonathan"

Ashe and Jonathan walk forward as they lead Axel, Ezekiel, and Jericho. 

"Wow" 

"City and Nation Boundera. The scorched lands? Its name is not suited for that" Jericho says. 

The vast majority of Bounderas buildings were made to fully utilize the climate through expansive windows and verdant gardens, therefore this sky had a significant impact on architectural designs in addition to the climate they brought. Unlike Aiz the setup for Boundera was all about food. There is an abundance of food options available at the hundreds of restaurants, theme restaurants, and concession stands. Lined up rows from where the group walked. Towards the center of the town had a palace of some sort that stood on top of the other houses and buildings."

"How is it looking you two?" Axel asks as his vision isn't all too well. 

"Great," Ezekiel says. 

"Not what the books and the professors explained it to be"

"Oh you need glasses I will get you some on the way to the palace."

"Palace?" Ezekiel asks.

"Oh yeah if you dont know Ashe and the other two Twelves Star run Boundera there is no King here this country is ruled by them"

"What this is a democracy then?" Axel wonders. 

"Yes, it is. Three of us rotate 4 months out of the year ruling each month. At the end of each rotation, the people get to decide which order we go that year. This year I went for the first 4 months right now Eliza is finishing up her tender of governing while Samson is getting ready for his turn." Ashe explains while waving and greeting the citizens. 

"So what does that make you Jonathan? A grunt? A soldier?" Jericho asks.

"I am their firepower. I am their shield figuratively and-" Jonathan points his finger up as the sun shines a clear barrier can be seen "physically".

Ashe goes into one of the food booths "Hello hi" A elderly lady comes out "Oh Lady Scorpio it's so nice to be in your presence. Whatever you need Milady" "Thank you very much. Alright, you guys you can grab whatever food, or drinks, you want. Also, there's more food at the palace as well"

"Ashe, Eliza, and Samson defeated the previous ruler of Boundera it is kind of a long story but they beat them in the end. I was a pivotal part of it."

"How did you end up working with them?" Axel asks.

"That story is for another time. Let's get your glasses" Jonathan heads off as he searches for a glasses booth.

"Still a mystery," Jericho says as Jonathan walks away.
