Act 1 Scene 1

There's a young boy and his sister who lived with their mother in Tokyo, they had no memory of their dad cause they didn't grow up with him. Their names are Kaneki and Touka and they are twins. They both attend Kami University and we're the best in their class. In Tokyo, demonic creatures named Titans devour living things on their planet to survive, this creature eats food too but won't last them as much as human blood does. Kaneki and Touka are still in school, Kaneki's working on a project while his twin sister waits for him.

TOUKA: Hey Kaneki, hope you know school is over for today right?

KANEKI: I know, but I have to finish my project before the deadline

TOUKA: When were you given this project?

KANEKI: Yesterday

TOUKA: (sigh) I'll help you finish the project so that we can go home

KANEKI: Thank you

TOUKA: You owe me big time

KANEKI: Ok, if you say so.

It took them twenty to thirty minutes to finish the project, the twins went outside and met a young girl in their class, she was the lonely type because no one knew who her family members were, no relative.....just alone.

TOUKA: Oye Kaneki, isn't that Karusa?

KANEKI: Yeah it's her, well it was fun looking at her, let's go home

TOUKA: Wait, let's go and talk to her

KANEKI: Are you nuts, we hardly know her

TOUKA: I know, I can use this as a chance to get you a girlfriend

KANEKI: I don't need a girlfriend

TOUKA: Well you can stand here, I'm going to a make new friend

KANEKI: Hey Touka, wait for me

Kaneki and Touka walked over to Karusa to start a small conversation with her

TOUKA: HEY KAAARUUUSAAA!!

KARUSA: Who's calling.......ohh it's you guys, Hey Kaneki

KANEKI: Hey

TOUKA: I'm here too

KARUSA: Yeh yeh, why haven't you guys gone home yet?

KANEKI: I was busy with my project that's why we are going home so late and my sister also forced me to talk to you

KARUSA: You didn't even want to talk to me

KANEKI: It's not like that, we just saw you and I wanted to go home then she forced me that's all

TOUKA: Karusa where do u live?

KARUSA: I live outside Red road

KANEKI: Red road?, I heard titans stay there more often

KARUSA: I know

TOUKA: We can follow you back to your home

KANEKI: Are you crazy, what happens if we get killed?

KARUSA: He's right, you guys are not taking any risk, just go home

TOUKA: NO

KANEKI: Touka come-on, let's go home

TOUKA: Onii-chan Please

KANEKI: ........fine

KARUSA: Ok then, besides I'll actually have visitors for the first time

Kaneki and Touka followed Karusa back to her house. The twins made a new friend, they were almost close to Karusa house but the path was blocked so they passed a narrow road and encountered a titan eating a dead person

TOUKA: Kaneki, isn't that a titan

KANEKI: Touka just calm down and follow me

KARUSA: Kaneki, let's get out from here

The three friends starts running as fast as they can, the titan notices and starts chasing them.

TOUKA: Kaneki, he has started chasing us

KANEKI: Touka run faster

Immediately the titan gets a hold of Touka's leg and pulls her back

TOUKA: KANEKI!

KANEKI: TOUKA!, let go of my sister you monster

KARUSA: Kaneki let's get out of here

KANEKI: I'm not leaving my sister, you and go I'm not leaving her

Kaneki then turns back to chase down the titan, Karusa felt guilty and followed Kaneki

KARUSA: Kaneki wait up!

Kaneki picks up a wooden plank and hits the titan's head really hard, he manages to get his sister free but the titan's grabs everyone and starts opening them up to eat their organs, Kaneki lost almost all his organ and his heart was almost removed, both Karusa and Touka too lost a lot of blood and some few organ. Kaneki and Touka passed out, Karusa was also about to pass out

KARUSA: Ka-ne-ki, Tou-ka, I'm.......sorry(coughs blood)

A strange man from the shadows pulls out a shotgun and shots the titan's head. He then walks over to the teenagers and calls his crew to come and pick them up. Touka and Karusa then wake in a room and hardly knew what was going on

KARUSA: Touka, where are you?

TOUKA: I'm over here, where is my brother?

KARUSA: That's not the problem now, the problem is that we don't know where we are

TOUKA: Where are we?
