Chapter 116: Born To Be A Star

Ana

Ana was silent. She knew that leaving Trois was inevitable but that didn't stop the guilt from eating her from the inside out.

As they navigated the twists and turns, water droplets from the sprinkler system above occasionally dripped onto their backs. Ana could hear the muffled shouts of panic and shuffling feet.

After what felt like an eternity of crawling through the narrow passages, they reached a grate that opened into a dimly lit hallway. Ambrose cautiously pushed the grate aside, and he and Ana slipped out into the corridor, the sounds of alarms and sprinklers still echoing in the distance.

"We need to keep moving," Ambrose whispered to Ana. "Let's find a way out of here and regroup."

They moved stealthily through the corridors, avoiding security cameras and any potential threats that might have been alerted by the earlier chaos.
