Chapter 112: Ambrose Chill Riese

Ana

The night was thick with tension as Ana and Ambrose stood in the shadow of Trinity's imposing headquarters. Ana gulped. This was it. She didn't know why but now that she was face-to-face with Trinity's headquarters, a cold chill ran up her spine and she felt her stomach twist in unease.

Ana turned to Ambrose and saw him shift his weight on his other foot uncomfortably as he scrunched his face from the pain in his sprained ankle.

"Are you sure about this, Ambrose?" Ana whispered concern etched on her face. The dim glow of the streetlamp revealed beads of sweat forming on her forehead.

"Yes!" He whispered determinedly.

"You don't look so good…Are you sure?"

Ana saw the emotions shift in his eyes–determination, sadness, and anxiety–. Ana had never known why Ambrose was so hell-bent on solving this case. It looked like he was ready to risk his very life just to solve it.
