Rise of the Hidden Queen

“You want to marry me?" Luna raised her brows looking straight into the bottomless ocean blue eyes of the world-renowned bachelor sitting in front of her. He wanted to marry her? An ordinary abandoned kid who was still in school? With a single word from him, women of all sizes and backgrounds would be ready to marry him yet he wanted her? That was interesting~ Aiden saw the tiny glint of tease in her eyes despite the serious and confused words she seemed to let out. "It's a marriage of mutual benefit." Luna quietly nodded her head at his words. Indeed. It was a marriage that would benefit both of them. She needed his support at the moment to get avoid trouble and get higher while he needed her to... sleep. Since the first time he met her, he had developed severe insomnia and his disgust towards other people and germs intensified! Before he could just avoid people and be done with it not that he was bothered about getting close to people but now he couldn't even sleep for 2-3 days in a row! "I can marry you Mr. Lee, but..." Luna put a hand on the cup of tea in front of her. She slid her fingers around the rim of the cup while her body leaned towards the table, seemingly getting closer to the man. "will you be okay marrying me? We all want a pleasurable sex life in this arrangement, yes?" Aiden saw the glint in her eyes and the tease that came along with it. Her tastes were very... unique. Though he couldn't say if he disliked it or not at the very least he seemed okay doing it with her? Through gritted teeth and slightly pink ears, Aiden spit out his words. "Let's have a pleasant marriage, Ms. Grey." Luna let out a bright smile. "Of course, Mr. Lee." 'Oh, it will be a very pleasant marriage~' When Aiden read those unspoken words that seemed to be attacking him through her bright eyes, he fell silent. 47. Press Conference part 3

The entire conference sounded more like it was a stadium after listening to the voice recording. Questions after questions and sheer confusion marked the faces of thousands of people throughout the country.

People normally wouldn't know of the Grey Corporation because it was but a rather medium sized company, but because they always managed to snatch away contracts from other major companies, people of all walks of life had heard of this Grey corporation.

Many also knew of how despite how promising the contracts make them seem, their prices for hiring security services were always rather high and of rather average quality. However, no matter how hard they tried to dig information on the Grey corporation, they always end up with the same predicament.

No results.

Nothing illegal.

Perhaps it was because their contractors were big shots that helped cover their tracks, many companies had tried many ways to find dirt on them to no avail.

In fact, it also seemed as though they always encountered more trouble once they started trying to dig dirt on Grey corporation.

Thus, they tried to stay low profile and get along with Grey Corporation. Not because they respected the company or enjoyed their services but because they feared the wrath of the one behind the company.

Who would be dumb enough to dig a hole for themselves knowingly?

The fact that Five Brothers Corp had managed to find some sort of evidence in Grey Corporation and even get to hold a press conference meant that they had found a better backing.

Hearing the voice recording only made them increase their hatred of the Grey Corporation because they were more inclined to believe that the Grey Corporation was capable of evil. Why else would they manage to always grab hold of the most important contract signings?

They had got to be doing something behind the scenes.

In their hearts they already started believing what they heard.

In fact almost all of the people that had ever encountered Grey Corporation as a business partner and enemy had all started to believe that voice recording.

They had always carried around the seeds of doubts for the Grey Corporation and this recording only watered the doubts.

However, there were still a few people in the business world who didn't believe it.

Why?

It wasn't because they trusted Grey Corporation but more so because the benefits that Grey Corporation provided for them and their company was more than they could earn honestly. Hence they couldn't believe that Mr. Grey was caught.

Secretly, they were relieved that the second voice that was heard within the recording was not theirs. Despite this, they were all shaking their hearts and murmuring incoherent words. Blood slowly started draining from their faces as thought of the possibility that in the upcoming evidence, their company might also be included in the mass downfall.

The recording had finished playing twice on the presentation when Mr. Kinnely pressed a button and paused the recording.

Clearing his throat and tapping on the mic to grab the attention of everyone that has been busy with the sudden burst of questions and utter confusion, Mr. Kinnely decided to end the suspense.

Silence ensued within the conference room. Tension rose and cameras clicked while live recordings played.

Mr. Kinnely finally opened his mouth and dropped the bomb that was going to cause a major destruction to the economy.

"As you have all heard, Grey Corporation is indeed doing illegal business. " He stopped talking.

Murmurs and not so quiet whispers started appearing throughout the conference hall. Some were shocked, others well prepared while a few couldn't make themselves believe the news.

No matter, Mr. Kinnely waited for everyone to fully understand and fully comprehend his words for the most impact.

After all; it is only after they fully understand the depth of those words will they be able to allow for the water to help the seeds of doubt grow. Besides the water that Five Brothers Corp was giving out, it wasn't any normal water but some special and purified water that was going to cleanse out the economy from the tiny bones. All the way from the blood to the bones to the actual flesh.

If they didn't understand how capable this 'water' was, the press conference would be in vain.

"Mr. Grey, did you fabricate the voice recording?" A loud voice of a reporter seated at the back corner of the room shouted very loudly. Hearing his words, people subconsciously start thinking of the possibility but how could they let go of some miracle water? Many other voices drowned out his doubt as people commented, and spoke out their questions.

"Is Grey Corporation selling girls or just delivering them?"

"Do you know how old those girls are?"

"What other evidence do you have? Despite it being the 31st century, it isn't impossible to have a fake voice recording!"

Mixed responses.

This big shocking news received mixed responses. The voice recording was only a drop in the ocean and people were already divided with different opinions. No matter how upsetting these results seemed, only Sophia knew that this was actually the best result.

After all, if people started believing it from the get-go, then in the future when their bloods cooled down, they would start doubting the news itself. That would give the Grey Corporation a way to retrieve their once valuable reputation back. Something Sophia couldn't allow to happen.

If the crowd started by rejecting their accusations against the Grey Corporation then it would mean that they had full faith upon the company and the people who operate the company. Giving out evidence to make them look bad would only backfire and make them the public enemy instead.

So Sophia stared at the floating comments on the billboard. Her eyes gleaned very dangerously as she let out a cold smirk.

She sipped on her matcha latte and then took a bite of the crepe in front of her. The smirk at the corner of her lips broadened into a very delighted smile.

'Sweet.'

If one were to look at her facial expressions at the moment they would come to a conclusion that this young and youthful girl was really enjoying the food of the cafe.

However, only those close to her would know and actually feel the restrained cold aura that was slowly seeping out from her body as she ate the crepe with a satisfied smile on her face.

Perhaps it didn't need to be a person close to her because at this time the dashing Mr. Lee who was seated on the opposite corner turned his gaze towards her little 'room.'

His eyes narrowed and he tried to concentrate but he couldn't think. His mind was rather blank and he seemed super…relaxed? Just as he tried squinting his eyes and focusing on the little room once again he felt his eyes go deeper and he let out a…yawn?

The secretary who was currently at the furthest corner from Mr. Lee couldn't help but open his mouth wide from shock!

How was this possible?!

He-he finally feels sleepy?

At a time like this…. he feels sleepy?

Not daring to believe what he saw, he picked up his arms and roughly rubbed his eyes. He must have been having an illusion from all the times he wanted to curse his boss to sleep for the past two days. There was no way his eyes were drooping … right?

Removing his hands, his brown eyes landed on the figure of a picture perfect man who seemed to be relaxing his eyes with one of his hands supporting his head…

He lost his footing and fell down to the ground with a loud' thump' that resonated across the entire floor.

Mr. Lee suddenly opened his eyes and glanced at his secretary.
