Chapter 32: 120 Seconds
The blade viciously dug into Kai's chest, right below the lungs. Lynn quickly backed away from Kai with a seemingly pale look on his handsome face.
"How did?– the Armor Piercing Strike is just a low level martial art! How could you use it to beat me!?" Spitting a few drops of blood unto the ground, Lynn fell on one knee. His eyes radiating a scary glow.
"Got you. How'd you like my new and improved technique? Guessing by the look on your face, it must have been quite shocking to you. That's what you get for looking down on me. Ha!" Kai grinned.
"I must admit, your strike was pretty good. But like I said, it's not nearly enough to defeat me." The pale looking Lynn had a ghastly look on his face as he dissipated into nothingness.
"What the hell?...Did he die or something? No! That's not it...he's somewhere nearby!" Kai immediately put himself on guard, but he was too late.
