Goldencastle
The night was quiet, the city was sleeping peacefuly, nobody knew about the threaton other side of the ocean. His attention shipped to the balcony because of an weird noise. He was an experienced soldier thanks to the rebellion so got up from the bed and drawn his sword as he turned in the direction of the balcony. He was ready for everything except the thing that happened next
A shape of a human outlined from the darkness I shouted at him -Show yourself!- The mysterious human turned and pushed off her hood, and I saw women with purple eyes and long silver hair, I was little bit socked but pulled myself together. -Who are you?- I asked pointing sword at her.
Finally she spoke -You know who I am- her voice was sweet as honey.
In the moment I opened my eyes and pull myself out of the dream, I turned to the balcony but nobody was there.
Island of Dragons
She woke up in the middle of the night because of a weird dream that tortured her for day. She once read that with the ring of Meagirs you can enter another person's mind but the never habe guessed that legend is true. She wondered who's mind was that, she could not really control the ring, just yet. She just saw a blurry picture. She knew they will go back to Valor but she was ready for the not kind welcoming. Tyris just got her powers and she instantly has to go to war and fight for a title. She knew she can enter her dragon's mind, in theory every Meagir could do that.
Enter a mind of another person, it sounds impossible, but she have heard the word impossible is just meant something in the dictionary of fools.
Goldencastle
The great hall was redesigned to be a conference room, which means that Goldencastle is going to be the capital of the renewed alliance. John did not like that idea but his well-being was irrevelant at the time. His mind still ticking on the women in his dream.
Who is she? Why is she in his dream?
The loud cracking of the great hall pulled him out of his thoughts, amd in that moment he could finally inspect the room better. The whole ceiling was a huge picture of the final scene
Everheart rebellion centuries ago.
The walls was decorated with tons of gold and silver. The columns that held the roof over their heads was made of marble, it was a better sight than the great hall of Winterkeep. Then a loud hoarse voice broke my inspection and instantly recognised Will's voice.
-So what the hell do we do about the Meagir threat?- he asked, in his eyes the uncertainty and dread shined.
I never saw him that insecure about something, once he was the figurehead of the continents' biggest rebellions.
-We have to sway the continent to our cause, or we can never beat them back- Ethan sighed. -We need more allies- he finished.
-First we have to know what they want- I said, and maybe I want to be more diplomatic about this topic, because I saw destruction that one Meagir caused without a dragon. Then what a Meagir and two dragons capable of?
-You are playing with the lifes of my family, we can not negotiate with them or they going to massacre us all-
Ethan stood up and shouted at me, he was scared too but at the time who doesn't at that hall. -Maybe you are counting with lifes of you family but I am counting with the whole Valor's lifes- I raised my voice. -The continent can not take another war, you saw the chaos the Meagirs caused, if we are going to war then a lot of innocent people dies- I tried to reach to his empathy to convince him.
-Okay enough, we are going to concern both options, Bbut I say we can't decide until we know every fact- He was suprisingly quiet and calm, I alway knew his fierce side. We both looked at him and we both knew he is right.
-What do you suggest Will?- I asked curiously
-We have to consider their goals, their army, their options and we have to send spies, we have to know more-
He was looking at the map of the continent which was on the table.
-Start with their goal...- Ethan said it before I can finish my sentence
-It's the restoration of the Empire-
-Maybe but we can get around the war if they want their Empire back, but if their goal is revenge then we have other option just war- I stated. We looked at eachother. -And we all know what is the cost of war- I finished.
-Next step, How many man they have?- Ethan asked -Or how many they can have?- he added.
-After the rebellion I looked into the reports and two children of Mearx Meagir vanished-.
-Any possible allies?- I looked at them hopfully but they both shaked tgeir heads. -The southern sthalmans were loyalist in the rebellion they are going to be loyal to the Meagirs in this war too- Ethan started walking around the table. -Mason Mayne is too busy with the war with his rebels- Ethan looked to the Thousand islands on the map -The thousand islanders won't care about anything but gold and pillaging-
He finished the circle around the table.
After a few more hours discussing the defence of the continent, we called it a day. It was a really long conference but it was necessary.
Ethan Everheart - Goldencastle
After the meeting I went to my private chamber, my wife Mary was already there. She looked my in the eye -How did it go?- she asked hoping for an answer.
-I have a plan- I said and stood out to the balcony, Mary followed me and hugged me from behind, she rested her chin on my shoulders.
-What is your plan Ethan?- she asked again. -I going to make John, William and the Meagirs kill each other and then I am going to take the Empire-.
