Cellar of the Dead part 2

As I look at the World Announcement I can't help but think "it can't be?" So I call up a pm to Brian.

"Hay that wasn't you on the World Announcement was it?"

"Don't you know it. But seriously my cousin is only lvl 6 so ya it's me."

"Good to know."

"You know im not the only one in this city I brought all my guildies from our starter village."

"How many in all?"

"Not much just a little over 300. Our guild master is pissed though."

"Oh why?"

"Cause the first kill of Gregor was supposed to give a Guild creation token and he's pissed someone else got it."

"Ah if that's the problem then there is no problem I got the token and I'll pass it to you later."

"Fuck seriously how did you beat Gregor on your own I mean we wiped 6 times."

"Trade secret or did you forget Syx's everything service?"

"Alright alright so how much do I have to pay to get the token?"

"Don't worry about it this time I'll give you the friend discount and I'll be bringing a large inventory so stock up on money as well as spells and skills I'll also take resources."

"Ok so when do we meet and how the fuck did you get to lvl 18 so damned fast? And what kinda class is a Monster Lord?"

"Again trade secret but the Monster Lord is a hidden class which is why the leader boards didn't pop up when I changed class."

"Shit really hidden class your luck explode again."

"Ya for one split second you know how my luck works."

"Ya and by the way one I'm getting alot of pms asking when your shop will be open for business and 2 Maria made it here too."

"Ok send all interested party's that my shop will be open in about 1 month and how is she doing?"

"Alright I'll send something in the World Channel and she is now."

"I don't like your wording on that last part. Explain."

"Well in the starter village she and her friend. You remember Veronica. Well they got some help you know the kinda guys you would kick the crap out if you weren't a short skinny runt."

"Thanks rub it in why don't you."

"Well she got some gear in the same way I did and these guy's started getting stupid so I walked up to them and gave them a piece of my mind as well as my right fist. She dropped them like a bad habit and joined up with some other girls. At this moment they are setting up a guild for girls only and all that."

"Oh well good send them a pm that I'll open up my exclusive stock for them when they get thing's up and running in the meantime I'll be stocking up."

"Ya will do by the way send a message to your mother she is really worried."

"Alright see ya."

After that I do a quickly check stock and gear then signal everyone that we are going in again.

2 weeks later.

Ok now let's recap. The normal dungeon difficulty for this dungeon seems to be an introduction to dungeons but that's my thought it may be different for others also the layout is the same in the Elite and Hard difficulty's the mobs are stronger and the 1st and 2nd bosses are the same the 3rd boss seems to change each difficulty though. The most unfortunate boss though is Theebs poor guy in each difficulty he dies before he can do much of anything and Bear seems to delight in crunching him huh RIP bud. Stitches on the other hand gets bigger and bigger in the harder difficulty's on the plus side he only has 1 attack ya Body slam although his size in the harder difficulty's make it hard to dodge Bear has tried to block the attack but even with at least 5 defense increasing skills and a skill known as immovable he is still knocked 3 yards away from the impact zone. The 3rd boss is different every difficulty lvl on normal it was the Skeleton King on Hard it was another Abomination named Everything and yes it looked like an amalgamation of everything under the sun it also dosen't use the same attack twice. The Elite 3rd boss was a Lich named wait for it Lich yes real original don't you think but damn he used alot of magic attacks and he wasn't physically weak ither he hit like a truck thank God by the time we hit Elite we had alot of skills and spells that helped us survive.

Tira and Tiara have been putting there heads together to create better and stronger spells they already created temporary enchant spells for offense and defense as well as a lot of attack and healing spells. Tiara has been trying to enhance her created language by creating an alphabet for a written language but since we don't have any writing tools she has been using a knife to write on the walls and oddly enough Bear is helping her. Bear and Tiara have been getting close lately and there is another couple in Bandit and Tira ad Bandit has been sleeping on her lap Brea sits beside me and sleeps with her head on my shoulder so question marks there. In any event we seem to be all set to give Nightmare a try I'm lvl 21 and an Elite 3 star the others are lvl 20 Elite 2 stars so we should be fine.

As I wake everyone up and do a final check on everything as well as handing out potions for quick consumption I wonder what we will find. After all that I walk up to the dungeon entrance and click Nightmare mode and walk in.

The layout of the dungeon is the same on all difficulty's but on Nightmare there is no light so it's pitch black in here for normal people that would be a problem but we are monsters we have night vision. What I see is a normal distribution of forces but they seem more oh what's the word Profesional this place seems more like a military stronghold as there are now defensive structures as such we keep things simple as well as keep watch. As we creep up to our first victim's I give Bear the signal to go but something that didn't happen before happened the skeletons turned their heads our way and then charged at us. Bear being the tank that he is planted himself in front and slammed into them. After the very short fight I give everyone a 5 minute break to figure out what just happened. Well these creatures are dead and in some literature the dead resent the living and have a sense for living beings but why would this crop up now and not in the other difficulty's? Well that just means we need to take it slow so we set off to take out the roving packs outside of the military strongholds.

After dealing with the outside forces the stronghold remains it's not large but you can't go around it and so we start making plans on how to go through it. We are now going to attempt to go through the stronghold as such Bear is given all the buffs and enhancements we have and he charges the gate and smashes it with his Warhammer the gate breaks off and slams inside the stronghold but what we find in the stronghold is rows and rows of skeletons of various classes with militaristic structure and command.

We managed to take down the stronghold but Bears arms are all cut up but not one wound on his body. Brea took an arrow to the shoulder but other than that is fine. Bandit somehow got out completely unscathed as well as Tira. Tiara however got the worst of it at this minute she is unconscious and badly wounded Tira is administering healings to her frantically. My wounds aside I finally get a good look at this stronghold and there are heavier defenses looking into the dungeon rather than out that has me wondering but I don't wonder long because I heard a horn sound farther into the dungeon. As the horn sounds I realized this went from a dungeon dive to a stronghold tactics game. I grabbed Bear and Bandit and we started to repair the defenses or technical abilities are not great but there are tools to fix and repair as well as materials so we do what we can with the time we have left.

Finally after 1 week of constant battles we make it to the first boss room also in this last week we learned more about this place. Apparently it was a stronghold dedicated to containing an ancient evil but it was able to loosen its chains and this was the result the undead legion was actually the strongholds defenders which is why the defenses act inward instead of outward but as things stand the defenders lost and became this. Well we decided to take a full rest day before taking on the boss. This place just got a whole lot more real.
