Entering The Academy

Dean was depressed. He checked the list of participants of the Great Entrance Test once more, trying to find a specific name, or even their family name, but the list disappointed him.

"Is the Zerst Family really not going to give any face to my Great Rise Academy?" Dean was furious. He had made a trip to the small town of Mondo specifically and had even requested that family to be present for the exam, but it seems his request had been throw on the streets for the dogs to feed on.

"I will see how they will enter the Academy!" Dean banged the table in his office. He wore his coat, and his newly bought hat and exited his office. He passed through the bewildered gaze of his secretary and flew down from the mountain, his destination was the entrance of the mountain.

He wanted to enquire the students there to see if the Zerst Family really had skipped the entrance test.

5 minutes later, he swiftly landed infront of the house that was blocking the main road up the mountain. Looking at this house, his expression was one that of rage.

'Who dares disrespect the Great Rise Academy?'

Dice, who noticed Dean, a bigshot of the academy fuming over the house, hurriedly made his way towards him.

"Master Dean! Good Morning." Dice bowed and greeted politely. He noticed Dean's expression turning furious at his greeting and understood the reason behind his fury. He hurriedly explained. "Master Dean, this house belongs to the Zerst Family! I couldn't get them to move away. The student had sinned. Please punish me!"

"The Zerst Family?!" Dean's furious expression changed to a suprised one, before it turned furious once more.

'So, these crooks were already here, and they are even challenging the authority of the academy! Even if they are the Zerst Family, they have no right...'

Blue fire gathered around Dean's palms at his fury, with a malovent expression and a small smirk, his eyes narrowed as he willed the fire gathered around him to attack the house.

He wanted to see the house burned to ashes but his fire did not contain much force behind it as he didn't want to harm the ones inside. The ideal result is for the fire to completely burn the outer walls of the house, leaving the ones inside fuming in anger.

But, as the fire was about to touch the outer layer of the house, a purple shield appeared around it and successfully blocked it.

At the same moment, a sound wave of extreme intensity came out of the house and counterattacked in Dean's direction. From this one could see that the house had been fitted with a mechanism to locate enemies that attack it.

Dean's hair stood on their ends as he hurried to conjure a air shield infront of him. Unfortunately he was a second late. This soundwave raged a fierce war in his body for a second before his air shield took shape and dispersed the remaining attack into the surroundings.

Due to this second's delay, blood was running down his nose and mouth, he had lost two teeth and his ears were pretty much done for. Moreover his internal organs took various amounts of damage, with his lungs being the most affected.

Dean collapsed on the ground as his legs had given out, but he was still conscious. As his heartbeat rised in response to the danger, Dean gritted his bloodied teeth and activated his Bloodline.

The accumulated power of his bloodline swiftly flowed towards his lungs along his will, trying its best to create new cells to replace the damaged cells.

At this moment, the dumbfounded Dice finnaly reacted.

"SAINZ! HURRY AND COME HERE! ITS A EMERGENCY!" Dice ran upto Dean's collapsed body as he shouted.

Sainz was a fellow student stationed at the entrance of the mountain along with Dice. Moreover, Sainz's bloodline ability was related to healing, so the First thing Dice did was call his friend.

Sainz, who was looking at the scene from the student quarters located at the side of the entrace ran towards them at Dice's shout.

While running, he conjured his ability which appeared as a gentle green arrow around his palm. As soon he reached Dean, Sainz's eyes glowed as he scanned Dean's body, in his vision, the internal structure of Dean appeared and he quickly noticed that Dean was trying to heal his lungs.

Sainz hurriedly planted his palms on Dean's chest and the green arrow made its way to Dean's lungs under Sainz's control.

Sainz then hurriedly took out a medicine pellet from a bottle that was hanging at his waist.

"Master Dean, this is a healing pellet. I have already marked your lungs as the targets of healing with my ability. As soon as you swallow the pellet, it will immediately start healing your lungs." Sainz brought the pellet near Dean's mouth and at this moment another green arrow appeared on his hand that Sainz sent into the pellet before it entered Dean's body.

The pellet was attracted by the green glow in Dean's lungs and the medicinal power went directly towards it.

This medicinal power stopped further damage of the cells and started repairing the damaged cells. This power along with Dean's Bloodline power which was creating new cells stabilized his lungs in the shortest time.

Sainz wasn't in a hurry to heal the other parts that were damaged though, most of the healing was done by Dean's body itself, and the amount of healing the body can output in short time is limited and thus it is important to heal the fatal wounds first.

Moreover, the academy had better healers on top of the mountain who could make even those at death's door to spring back to life, so Sainz didn't do more than required.

Master Zerst was standing outside the house by now. As soon as Dean attacked the house, an alarm rang out inside making it hard for him to continue resting.

Master Zerst made his way to the collapsed Dean. Seeing him bleeding from the nose and ears, Master Zerst shook his head. He easily guessed that Dean had taken the counterattack from the portable house.

If it was any other portable house, Dean would have likely to have escaped from the counterattack, but this portable house just happened to be fitted with the highest grade defensive and offensive structures. Even Madam Zerst had to put her everything into finding it before she could own it.

"Here. Give this to him." Master Zerst handed a brown pill with nine star like patterns on it to Sainz.

Sainz studied the pill for a moment before his eyes narrowed. "Is this the widely renowned Ninestar Restoration pill?"

Master Zerst answered Sainz's question with silence.

Sainz "..."

"Master Dean, this is the Ninestar Restoration pill. It's healing properties are two levels above the pellet I gave you, and it doesn't need to be guided like healing pellet I gave you. It comes with an automatic feature to locate fatal wounds, moreover, the medicinal power is spread over nine times. This means that it can heal you nine times, and if you are fully healed before nine times, the medicinal power is stored inside the body until you suffer another injury. It is a top class pill!" Sainz fed the pill to Dean.

As soon the Ninestar Restoration pill entered Dean, its first wave of medicinal power completely healed the lungs, its second wave healed the damage to the other internal organs. The third wave healed his broken tooth, his bleeding nose, and the fourth healed his eyes and finally the fifth eruption healed his eardums. The other four waves dispersed inside his body, awaiting his next injury.

Dean lost consciousness as soon he felt his body recover. He only woke up an hour later finding himself in the students quarter, fully healed.

He came out to find Dice and Sainz talking in hushed voices a few meters to the side. The portable house that was blocking the road up the mountain had disappeared. In its place stood two horses, one carrying the siblings and the other carrying Caroline.

Dean's anger had faded after the accident. He ignored the concerned gazes of Dean and Sainz and made his way towards the siblings.

"You didn't attend the Great Entrance Test." He said calmly.

"Yes." Master Zerst replied.

"You know that the first place in the test gets the best resources from the academy right?"

"I know."

"If you know, then it's fine. Come with me, once we reach my office, I'll register Lady Zerst as a member of academy."

"Ok."

Like this, Dean floated in air as he moved along with the horses.
