Reawakening

"You should worry so much, I am sure he is going to be fine" Aaron said after some minutes of silence. It was more than some minutes really.

Since they left the hospital, Amanda had been silent, he could see the wheels tuning in her head as she considered the severity of the situation on ground. The doctor had told her the surgery they had to perform to drain out the blood which was clogging his brain and also regulate his mind's connection with his body had been successful but now there was no telling whether he would awaken from his slumber or not.

Amanda had appeared devasted at the news and even when they had gone in to see her friend, she still could not believe what the doctor was saying.

"Give me a minute alone with him" She had said

He understood completely and had excused himself to speak with the doctor outside.

"Is there nothing that can be done to speed up his healing process?" He had asked.
