He did everything in his power to bring food to their table and for Jade to go to school, but Bruno never finished college for his family lacked money. He worked part-time as a valet and studied in school at night but when Belinda got pregnant, he was forced to work full time and cared for his family. Bruno did what he could but he seemed to be unlucky finding jobs and so he needed to resort to illegal stuff such as selling drugs and guns. He became popular with the Mexicans and American drug dealers and gun smugglers but he didn't know that big time dealers and smugglers hated him for stealing and earning thousands using their turf and selling to their lf patrons. Bruno trusted someone and made him as his right hand. HE didn't know that this guy is one of the big bosses' puppet. Bruno had a drug deal that is amounting to 1 million dollars and that guy he trusted stole his money and called the cops on him and his buddies.

Bruno is a kind and generous guy but if one of his people two-timed him he is going to be so pissed he would promise to kill that guy and that's been the case in Bruno's men. He wouldn't let this guy Shorty live to see the sight of day. The devil will surely be found eating his nuts while pooping out of excessive fear. But Bruno thought of being a good person when he goes out of prison. And since he's going to be released sooner, this coming December, he wants to see his daughter and ask for her and his ex-wife's forgiveness. He still thought of finding ways how to get his money back to secure his daughter's future with it. He already sketched and wrote a quick and effective plan, a legitimate way to organize a bust against Shorty and the Boss he's been talking about on the phone when he and his guys got busted that unlucky handed poker night in their group's regular hide-out and gambling den. He just hopes that Shorty is still alive to see the day he make him pay for what he did to him, but in a nice and humane way to do it. I hope I don't need to use my iron hand for him to spill what I want to hear about my money and what happened to it after 10 long years.

I called Nate before Jade and I alight the plane for our flight. He talked fast and like whispering since he didn't want to wake dad up. He spilled a little secret to me, that he wanted us to organize a surprise birthday party for dad, and he wanted me to do it. I was also advised to bring mom home so she could get some rest before the party. He said that dad is okay and he can go home after two days in time for the surprise party. I know my assignment and Jade was so happy to help in organizing the party. She is more excited than I was when I told her about the plan. Jade talked with Belinda about the trip, when she stayed in her daughter's flat for a few days because of the medical seminar. I came with Jade to help her get some of her stuff for our flight. Belinda kissed us goodbye and advised that Axel isn't happy to hear that he got dumped because of a woman. He was crying to Belinda like a baby, but Jade's mom consoled him and advised him just like any other moms would do for their kid. After a few days Belinda overheard that Axel is already seeing one of their hospital's young interns, the cutie Jane. Belinda knew the girl and she is nice. She wouldn't break his heart just like what Jade did to him. Belinda said and laughed when she mentioned the phrase ..."the girl wouldn't break his heart just like what her daughter did", and then hugged Jade saying she was just joking. Jade knew what she meant and understood it also joining in the laugh.

But Belinda knew all along that Jade didn't really love the guy and she honestly told her that she still loved Meg and that love is eternal. Belinda never believed in homosexual loves and how it works but as a medical person she understood the biological, psychological and physiological explanation of the act and the emotion. So she understood her daughter even before she told her that she loves Meg and girls. Jade and Belinda hugged each other as they were saying their goodbyes to each other. I cried a little with how Belinda loved her daughter so much she would give everything to make her happy. And that's what's he did why they moved to London to give her a good future. Jade finished college and went to theater school thought it is a bit expensive, Belinda was able to make ends meet and more. Belinda is now the head nurse in London Hospital and she is earning too much that she was able to buy a house and car.

She bought Jade her own flat and though Jade earns handsome money herself, she puts her wages on her savings and her expensive gift for Belinda on her birthday in January. Jade wanted to give her mom a gold necklace that she can wear wherever she goes to remind her of her daughter. She already has a house and a car so she wanted something personal and intimate for her mom to remember her every time she goes to her shift. The pendant hoes something like B and J that stands for Belinda and Jade.
