Stay With Me

I had never seen Aurora so… underconfident. I already had a vague idea of what she wanted to tell me, but it was best for me not to assume anything. I wanted to give her the space to share as much or as little as she wanted to. 

After I showered, I ordered Anne to brew tea and set up a table in the master bedroom. I was expecting her to say something out of pocket after I gave her orders to her, but she seemed to have understood that something serious was about to happen. She obeyed my orders without any commentary. Even Valencia picked up on how serious the situation was. Normally, she would greet me in a loud and friendly way, but this time, she only verbally greeted me.

Now, it was only Aurora and I in the master bedroom. I locked the door and sat across from Aurora. I poured her a cup of tea and then myself some. I sat quietly while sipping tea and waited for when Aurora was ready.
